MellowSir -> Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:26:01 AM)

Having been on this site for quite some time, I've met a few subs in person and made friends of many others. Recently was blocked from sending emails to a person and was wondering why. My emails were courteous and non-abusive, this person claims to be seeking a white dominant male 30-45, single, and real. Yet when exactly such emails her, first there's no reply, then there's a block. Hell, this person didn't even view my profile. Wonder what kind of game that person's playing lol. Good luck to someone that's that rude without even a simple no-thank you, sheesh, obviously either a sore lack of training or none at all....or maybe looking for mr perfect, well guess what, HE DOESN"T EXIST, some are just a bit out of touch with the real world, *sigh*....

If someone blocks you I guess the message that I would take is that they are not interested in having contact with you. Their reasons for such could be one of millions. I certainly wouldn't take offense, assume she is playing a game or even view it as rude. I would simply go on to the next.

Why would you see it as a "sore lack of training"? Do you think that all submissives are required to have dialogue with any Dominant who approaches, even when that Dominant does not meet their personal criteria for whatever reason?

crouchingtigress -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:36:25 AM)

there is a lot of things that could b the culprit from a really bad date the night before to a wandering gypsy telling her to not answer any emails the last week of may.lol

being blocked is like a sting, it s often surprising, it hurts for a few seconds and if you let it fester it can poisen you.

be greatful to have this experiance

its better to learn who a person is sooner rather then later

It means she didn't like either your words or your picture and didn't feel like dealing with any future emails from you which obviously she would have because the only way you know that you were blocked was by sending her another email.
If she was interested in your first email she would have responded back.

Tip of the day: quit crying and move on.

MellowSir -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:43:00 AM)

I can understand not wanting contact with someone, I can't understand it when they've not even viewed your profile, how would they know whether or not they'd be interested unless they did?

dude, calm down truly showing the undomly side to you at the end here.

why would you assume it's lack of training if someone blocks you?  i have many Dom/mes who viewed my profile (and i viewed back) on my block list for many reasons ...even without a reply to their messages. am i being rude? i don't think so.

chill out ...relax ...breathe in and out - sheeeeeesh and get over it.

MellowSir -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:45:39 AM)

and as for "lack of training", well common courtesies are lacking in some, really, how long does it take to type "no thanks" and send it? 2 minutes maybe? lol , some have the time to constantly be here but can't find the 2 minutes, hmmmm, funny that I expect the same treatment I give, I can find the time to reply even if I'm not interested, guess the golden rule is disregarded a bit too easily.....

No response = not interested
blocked = super not interested

MasterLordguru -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:48:20 AM)

I like to think that when someone sends you an email, that the courtasy is to respond to it and even say yes or no to the words. However, that is not always the case. Not everyone is sensitive to others needs. And others just dont have the time or patience.  When you consider that woman on this website probably get more than a dozen email an hour (For those without pictures) to hundreds for those with pictures (and several hundred with any type of "artistic nude" or just flashing nudity, one cannot take it personally when one is not emailed.

So she never saw your profile correct? and she never read the emails right? So... her lost, your gain. Why waste your time on it in the first place. I usually will send two emails at most. if no response. not a problem. (case in poit, I think its been 1 month since I have actually emailed a email to anyone even those who are friends on the website. )..

And if she blocked you, remember, there is a saying.. "There are two sides to the story" and she clearly felt stalked, violated or insulted in one way or another. Or hey.. maybe she was just plain vindictive to you. Who knows? We dont. So no place to judge.

mistoferin -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:48:34 AM)

Obviously, you sent her an email. Actually, in order to find out you were blocked you must have sent at least two. Apparently, there was something in that mail that didn't interest her.

A much better question would be, why are you dwelling on it? Why are you letting it bother you enough to start a thread on it? Your OP suggests that you have some odd misconceptions of the rules of contact. You seemed to have read an awful lot into her blocking you. Maybe you should take a look into yourself and figure out where all that is coming from. I think it would be of far more benefit to you than trying to analyze her reasons or whining over the injustice of it all.

MasterLordguru -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:51:49 AM)

no thanks..= 3 seconds to type out.. 10 seconds total to type this msg

That's true.  I'm not sensitive to junk mail that arrives almost daily in my mailbox at home.  Again, why is it so difficult to understand that not responding is a reponse of no interest.  To respond "no thanks" opens the door to hearing just how desperate doms can be "why not?"  "just meet me for coffee", "I think we'd be good", blah blah.

Maybe you don't have a good grasp of what it is like to be a submissive on a site like this. Do you have any idea how many emails you can sometimes get in one day. Especially if the person is new to the site. It can be overwhelming. If a person gets a hundred e-mails and spends two minutes on each on just to express disinterest....that is 3 hours and 20 minutes. So those "2 minutes" can really add up.

Just because you don't see her listed in the Who's Viewing Me page doesn't mean she didn't view your profile.  As long as she doesn't view you through "View Profile Details" or she could have logged on anonymously to view your profile, it won't show up on Who's Viewing Me.

MellowSir -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 5:55:59 AM)

And not to worry, I'm over it, I'd have more luck at a convent than with some of the hard-to-get games here lolol, if she ends up with a jerk then good riddance lol

MstrssPassion -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 6:00:43 AM)

you assume far too much

how do you know she didn't look at your profile?

The "who's viewed me" thing only lists those who have viewed your profile in what is called it's "full view". You can still view profiles in the standard view.

& there we have it... the classic "Fox & the Grapes" reply

Thanks Katy, that is so true and EXACTLY what often happens. So when you try to send a polite "no thanks" it ends up meaning that in order to stay polite you have to invest a lot more time in the long run. The only thing you forgot are the emails that say "Oh, give me a chance and I promise I will change your mind", "When I see something I like I go pursue it" and then of course the emails of the ones who can't take a simple "no thanks" and have to respond with "well your pussy probably stinks anyway", "you're fat", "stuck up BITCH!" and others along those lines.

ceeman -> RE: Blocked for no good reason? (5/29/2007 6:02:21 AM)

People, in general,  who  advertise  on these  sites are  not  interested in anyone else's  desires or wants. They are basically selfish and  unwilling to  appreciate that  some one else may,  " want " to adapt or meet  them half  way, or, consider  that   they themselves, may benefit from compromise........
