Hi Ranger; I suppose you've read, as everyone has, and seen the film 1984, Geo. Orwell. In one film, with Richard Burton, our haggered hero John Hurt, is given a task to decipher a suspected subversive book. In the end, you find out, the inspector general wrote the book, not that he was a subversive, no, quite the contrary. Orwell used the old proven fascist mode of rule, create the chaos, then bring the solution to the chaos; there was a screen play years ago with Eddie Albert, basically a three actor play, mostly set in one room. Therein, Albert is confronted with this mirror, which actually is a surveillance monitor, and no where in the room was there any private unseen location, once Albert moves to a location outside of the view of the monitor, and is cautioned to return back to view. It's worth rethinking the 'predictions' of Orwell, more than just a writer, he was a prophet. I did a promo gig for a company who was in the bus of these surveillance cameras. They are amazing little devices; positioned atop those poles, they can actually read the fine print on your drivers license; ...with amazing clarity.... and guess what; an operator can, from a remote location, 5 even10 blocks away, zoom in on people on the street, run idenity checks for wanted suspects from photos, observe your comings and goings, suspicious activities, and just any activity; They are positioned in malls, shopping centers, just about anywhere people gather. And...yes they can zoom in and watch an actual blow job being performed, that is, if you are in any proximity to the camera. But people, remember, you have a right to privacy, you are not under surveillance 24/7/365; these 'traffic cameras' (that is all they are); are for your safety, to enforce traffic violations, they protect and serve. As far as just simply obeying the laws, a radical idea for sure; and as Fargle pointed out...if you are a connected white guy.....well, the more bucks you have, funny how less and less of the laws apply to you; it's directly proportional to your position and wealth. The higher up you are, even buddy with the king, you can dictate your own terms and create the laws as suits your personal agenda. Smiley, just slow down, or maybe just dump that BMW and get a lesser prestigous car; or elevate to a Bentley. With a Bentley, you would be surprised how laws just vanish away.
