He moved up here. He likes my area better than where he had been and he could get a job transfer. I'm not uprooting my family so if I was the one to relocate, we would still be LDR for several more years.
I find it more common that the men relocate simply because mothers are more likely to have physical custody and need to consider their offspring's needs plus many times are forbidden by court settlement to move them more than 50 miles.
