Status: offline 		I would suspect that there are as many fem doms who hate men as there are male doms who hate women. There are those on both side who use this as an excuse to vent anger.

I would have to agree with this. I've spoke to some Dom's who made it no secret that they hated women and saw them as nothing more than a hole with legs.

They will use them, suck them dry(not with their mouth), gain everything they want financially they can get off them, while getting off and letting go of internal hatred by humiliating, beating, CBTing and whatever (even though the slave may love it) and when they are done with them boot their sorry asses out the door.
 
Now, know I am speaking of a certain group here, not all Dominas are like this, as I know there are very sincere, loving, fair ones out there.  I just think there are some that take advantage of the dynamic and the same goes for the Dom's out there too, just in different ways.

My impression is that there are both many men and women who are in the lifestyle only because of their hatred of the opposite gender.  I think that each gender expresses their hatred in slightly different, but equally damaging ways.  I also think that many submissive men and women do not leave an abusive relationship as quickly as they should, which makes the lifestyle a perfect shopping place for abusers.

Myself, I don't hate men or women. Actually I don't hate someone smart men and women...stupid ones I have a real harsh dislike for.

I do believe though that just as you find with other walks of life, there ARE predators that wait for the perfect opportunity to take out their rage on others.

I tend to disagree...I mean there are definitely men/women haters in all walks of life....I just think there are on the whole more disturbed folks that participate in bdsm than you will find in your normal stroll through life....Just one more reason to keep your head up and not become that weak wildebeest that calls out to be preyed upon.

My poor thread has become nothing more than a twelve step program for the MHA....Mean old rotten dommes.

LOL...ok...I do admit I didn't articulate enough when I said there ARE predators. I meant within BDSM, and though it may be more "noticed" in BDSM...unfortunately domestic abuse is very prevelent in the 'nilla world as well.

As for your 12 step program that has started out of a simple question...it may be needed as these domestic abuse cases are becoming more and more apparently committed by women towards their spouses.

And I like picking on My Man...gets a good little swat on the rump from Him now and then

Not all Dommes have sex with their slaves -- doesn't mean they hate them, just means they are in a service or nonsexual position. And sex does not equal love, or sometimes even like.
