EPGAH -> RE: Gangbangers benefitting from military training? (7/30/2007 5:11:37 PM)

Due Process is great for white-collar crimes, but for violent crimes, especially if you literally see it happening, you need to react RIGHT THEN, not gather clues, because chances are the surrounding people will be too scared to testify--They fear the criminals' reprisals more than they fear the same crimes happening to themselves!
There are neighborhoods near where I live, that if you get robbed there, the police don't ask, "What did they take?", it's "What were you doing there?"--which implies that the POLICE have unofficially ceded these lands to the criminal scum!
My suggestions would create the OPPOSITE climate: Criminals in fear for their lives; HONEST citizens--and even "abruptly reformed" criminals happy to lend a tip, or even a hand (Tripping a fleeing criminal, refusing to harbor/hide the criminal, etc.)
If you believe it's about risk/reward analysis, right now, the criminals have more "rights" than the victims--Crime is a no-risk, huge-reward profit system! Even if they're caught, they get sent to jail, taxpayer-subsidized room&board, food, cable TV, exercise rooms, even health-care! All at the TAXPAYERS' EXPENSE! (Plus the ability to launch unlimited frivolous lawsuits, again at the taxpayers' expense)
If the criminal thought its "reward" would be measured in lead, (Lead bullet or lead pipe, your choice), and believed there was actually some RISK of meeting that "reward", they would probably not do it.
Prison reforms have been blocked, too, all attempts to "tighten the belt" on prisons have been lamented by "civil rights" organizations until the idea of reform passed...What's wrong with turning jail from a four-star hotel for queers into an actual place of punishment...or at least reinstating "chain-gangs", since they like being in gangs so much anyways, make it benefit the society they take from.

I'd suggest you sit down with the federal Constitution, and give it a read.

In a land of citizen soldiers, this story is not news... gangs and individual criminals have found a home in the military community for many, many years.
As far as benefitting from the military training, I'm chalking that up to hype. Becoming an urban gang member is already a pretty rigorous process, and weapons skills have never been the exclusive province of active duty troops.

Heh.... We've got the biggest group of thugs running our country ever assembled, and folks are worried over a few buster's who've managed to slip into the Marines.

Anyone here who's a former Marine knows that this stuff starts at the top----and I’m not talking about the commandant. These directives that stipulate anyone with prior criminal history can obtain a waiver--to enlist-- come directly from Darth Vader and SimonBushsinister, themselves.

EPGAH, I agree, how can you work within the system when "the system" itself is *overwhelmed*?
It's like when the cops "finally" get a guy who's terrorised people for years and got away with it for 20 years.
What kind of "victory" is that? Look at all the damage he did within those 20 years.
One thing about Vigilence Committees, you don't need 20 people in them. Five people can do a lot. Or even three.
Funny thing about those "Re-Habing" guys. Drug pushing was flourishing with the Police in charge but when the "Re-Habing" guys went to work drug pushing dropped precipitously!
What does (that) tell you?
If you're in the drug pushing business and 4 or 5 of your buddies "dissapear" in a month or two you can't be too comfortable especially if their id gets mailed to someone.
Or if they're found hanging in a tree with a suicide note in their pocket.
When you can walk out of your house and get some dope within an hour then whatever we're doing now is obviously not working.

EPGAH -> RE: Gangbangers benefitting from military training? (7/30/2007 5:26:02 PM)

I have already...No CITIZEN shall be denied life, property, and/or liberty without due process of law...But as popeye mentioned, a great number of the modern lawbreakers are not CITIZENS...
Instead, they break into America by land, sea, or air, (usually land), always WITHOUT PERMISSION of America, and often directly against America's wishes--i.e., deportees coming back again and again, and acting as if they're doing US a favor, giving US another chance!
However, a criminal, by definition, is trying to take the life/property/liberty of an American, so therefore, shooting the criminal actually UPHOLDS the Constitution!
Law is supposed to benefit the majority of Americans, at the expense of the criminals, and sometimes, simply benefit the American citizenss at the expense of non-American citizens...Either way, both purposes have been greatly abrogated recently, as foreign criminals, often financed by drugs and the proceed of their other felonies, can get the best lawyers to twist and pervert the laws the most!
Put another way, wait until YOU get robbed, or some of YOUR friends get shot, then see what you think the criminal deserves...?

To popeye: Two years ago, Missouri executed a serial-killer, whom even the POPE (John Paul II--the previous "administration" of Popes) wanted to spare...This serial-killer is not like the others, because his targets were DRUG-DEALERS! When the Pope was here, Carnahan agreed to suspend the death penalty...and as soon as the Pope LEFT, Mease was executed! How's THAT for surreal and/or perverse?

history the Illuminati

Illuminati (ĭlū'mĭnā'tī, –nä'tē) [Lat.,=enlightened], rationalistic society founded in Germany soon after 1776 by Adam Weishaupt, a professor at Ingolstadt, having close affinities with the Freemasons and seemingly organized on a Masonic plan. While briefly very popular among German rationalists, it had limited influence. The Roman Catholic Church, which Weishaupt left in his youth and rejoined before his death, condemned the Illuminati; in 1785 the Bavarian government dissolved the organization. It did not long survive. In Spain and Italy in the 15th and 16th cents. the term Illuminati, or Alumbrado, referred to persons claiming direct communion with the Holy Spirit, so asserting that outward forms of religious life are unnecessary. Their claims led to persecution by the Inquisition. Other groups using the name have included the Rosicrucians, and certain followers of Jakob Boehme and Emmanuel Swedenborg.

EPGAH, they should have gave the guy a medel and the keys to the city!
How do I get on a jury like that?
"NOT GUILTY!"
Back in the 1990's Las Vegas was having a real problem with pickpockets.
They were trained at "The school of bells" in Colombia.
They called it that because they had to pick a pocket on a store torso that had bells hanging all over it without ringing one.
There was an article in the Boston Globe about it.
Big problem! "Casinos losing money, tourists wary" "Police Stymied" etc.
Well, some people of my aquantance saw this and saw an opportunity.
They called up the Las Vegas Police Detectives from my phone.
"Hey, we understand you guys have a "problem" out there with pickpockets."
"Here's the deal, we'll tell you who we are and you let us go about our business."
"All we want is the cash we get off these monkeys, any jewelry, credit cards, lisenses, etc we'll hand over to you guys and you look like fuckin heros when you give them back to their owners."
"You "know" us but you don't "know" us." Capece?
The stupid cops turned them down!
You believe that shit? They could have had their little problem solved in about a month. And these guys would have stopped them!
They were going to stake these guys out, follow them back to wherever they were staying and rob them and beat the living crap out of them.
Instead it kept going on long after that.
If anyone goes to Vegas no wallets and keep your cash in your front pockets waded up.
If you want to have some fun with them tape some double edged razor blades onto the sides of a wallet and let it be visable.

The FIFTH AMENDMENT to the federal Constitution reads, and I quote:

"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

I think every one.. not just children should learn how to donate thier time to greater causes.. the poor, the elderly, the sick... we as a society have become a bunch of spoiled brats who dont realize just how lucky we are.

While I dont want my post to sound like I think we are a bunch of spoiled brats.  There is a lesson one can learn that the body politic is more important than the constituent parts, but I suspect this lesson may or may not happen whether one is spoiled or not.

And as far as the killing people and blowing things up cheerleading squad, some people dont want to be airy-fairy granola eating tree-huggers, so the military should be an option for such individuals.

P.S. In the same paper there was an article about a "Shortage of Organ Donors."
One of these guys sees the headline and says; "What! There's PLENTY of Organ Donors out there!"
It was fun having my picture taken whenever I went out for drinks with these guys.

what gangbabgers dont hug trees?

The reason i suggested a citizen militia is several fold.  In the military you are scurried off to somewhere else with peeps you never seen into the big organization.

You get a sense of belonging but its not the same as being with the kids you went to scholl with and the next door neighbor as your teacher and comrade.

the main thing is the discip[line and focus on protecting the country and motherf and father etc.  GRanted a citizen militia can be called on by the prez to serve in a national war just as the national guard can be.

This situation comes as no surprise to me.  This is a common problem when young recruits from gang backgrounds join the military.

CBS) Like most American cities, Columbia, South Carolina, has its share of problems, but nothing prepared the Sheriff Leon Lott for what his department discovered last August.

Four U.S. Marines – who proudly snapped pictures of each other – were recruiting local kids, some as young as 13, into the Crips street gang. The leader was a lance corporal.
