marshmallow fluff is still available, at least in some of the Chicago area supermarkets, like Jewel and Dominicks, some generic brands too at other places

I want Toyota to bring back the MR2 Mark II. The present version of the car is fast and handles great, but the second generation model was also quick, a great handler, and, equally important, absolutely gorgeous. Not the best car I ever had, but definitely the coolest.

Then I want Yamaha to bring back the 1990 FZR1000A. Black and silver. I doubt I'll ever find a used one in decent condition.

The Gino's Giant Burger. It was as big and sloppy as a Whopper, but very tasty. I had one as a kid.

....you're probably the only person who wants that stuff back.  I had forgotten all about it.  I'd say you'll have much better luck finding a sub without it than you will with it, Level.....luci

Horlicks tablets in chocolate  (that's Horlicks not WHORELICKS, you buncha pervs).  I loved those things, they would get stuck in your teeth and be all chewy and yummy.

I think they still sell them at that Vermont country store but the shipping to CA is outrageous...I think they sell them in the Phillipines too.  but nowhere else

From slaveluci:

True.  But just as we're supposed to respect our elders in general, I think it's also good to realize that they've kind of "paid their dues" and lived alot longer, so why not look over their less than polite behavior sometimes?  It's still not excuse to be downright mean, though.........luci
[/quote]

Luci:

For me, I don't get mean with the elderly but just a little stunned at their behavior.  I am in my late 40's and my mother is elderly, which I treat her with respect.

I used to work in a medical office where some of these younger clerks would be mean to these elderly people who were rude to them.  I wonder what purpose does that serve except to make one lower themselves.

I used to remember that aftershave and this mens cologne would came in a regular or a lime scent.  There would be a commercial showing a guy fending off these gorgeous women and at the end of it, the announcer would say "Be careful how you use it!"  Hmmmmm...........
