I was wondering if other DOMs/MMEs have the same experience I have here when posting?  I have sent out over 30 introduction inquiries with my peronal and pic attached with a note requesting a short yes or no regarding any interest. Not only have I not gotten any responce, I notice that for months the messages have gone unread. not a month, ....months.. Now I've been around enough to realize alot are just trolls seeking whatever trolls seek, but for the life of me I can't understand why they don't even take the time to delete the mail? Is this common practie here I wonder? Also I notice that alot of people change their names in the chat areas, is that common practice too? Just curious and frustrated I guess. sorry about the rant.

People sign up for a few days, then leave....and messages they receive never get read or deleted.

Everyone has problems like that.  If the emails are not being opened, the people are either not logging on to check their mail, or you are being shuffled into a bulk mail folder and being completely ignored. Youve sent out 30, not a huge number.  Try making sure the people you are sending to are looking for what you offer. Obviously, if they arent reading the emails, it cannot be a content problem.
But for your question, yes some of us have that problem too. Mine are usually read but not responded to. Cest La Vie... if they dont want to take the time to talk to me then I dont want to be bothered wiht them.

I figure if they don't open the email I've sent...they are worth it anyway....

Check their last log in date. Your emails may have remained unread and undeleted for months because the recipient hasn't logged into collarme.com for months.

Don't forget that every once in a while people have a stroke while they're reading e-mail.  Maybe the person just happened to be reading yours.

If it never gets read, then it probably went to bulk mail because you were outside their age or geography limits. Of course it would be helpful if people stated those limits in their profiles, but that would be entirely too convenient. I know some other "matchmaking" sites automatically show on profiles "this user has selected that all messages outside 200km and from men over 40 go to bulk mail", which is a good way of saving both people's time.

Well based on your profile,  you mention the word private at least 6 times, say you will not share your sub with the vanilla world ( paraphrasing) which says to Me, she's good enough to screw but not to go to the country club, and you mention Christian-conservative at least 3 times--based on that,  you expect a yes or no on the spot??

And you don't see anything wrong with that picture? If I was a sub, I wouldn't respond either, your only hope is Miss America or My size Barbie.

too bad - for those of us who do, indeed, state these limitations upfront - that the words are not heeded by so many

Being a really good mental sadist, I purposely open all my e-mails and then, I set a few to the side (In a special folder) and don't respond until I think the person is confuzzled enough for me to imagine their frustration and work myself up to a good "map of Hawaii" on my computer monitor. (Excuse me. I need to go look at "CLASSnKINK's" profile, for a few minutes, now)

Some people get an adventureous streak one day, then a few days later forget it and never look back to the profile(s) they may have created when they "let their hair down," as it were... others have specific people they are interested in interacting with in a chatroom, and ignore all else...are you the kind who gets discouraged and quits, or who perseveres with committed effort?  After you honestly answer that, it won't matter that all of your messages aren't getting answered... and more probably will.

Sure, people have sent out messages without reply.

You might try rethinking your message, though. You could try to persuade people that you're well matched based on things you've read in their profiles, for example--tailor the message to the person.

I do not even bother sending messages to local people. My area is semi-rural and the locals never respond anyway. I have had more fun trading messages with people all around the globe, that I will never meet. Trying to get a local to at least say hi online is hard.

~I hate biting my tongue~..Ok, so you have sent out 30 e-mails, some have been opened ,some not...none responded...you have received info as to why the unopened ones are exactly that ..unopened..to the ones that did open and not respond?..They read your profile...the profile where you come across as the be all end all of a mate..the expectations of what you seek would put many off..if not pretty close to all..maybe you think you are all "that" and deserve nothing less than "all that, and a bag o chips" as well..but face it, what you seek is close to a perfection mindset. You strike me as the "guy" who will always be looking for that something better.Maybe you should go to submissive models.com..or maybe Barbie pets.com..you may find what you seek there. Always remember the more criteria you place on your profile, the pool becomes more shallow with each expectation.I wish you well in that bucket of water you are fishing in...Tempting
