ORIGINAL: dawntreader The thing is, physical fitness and healthy lifestyle is such an emotionaly volitale subject...right there with religion and politics. People tend to equate wanting to "better" themselves with a lack of acceptance and love for themselves. Thats why, in my opinion, it is best to work with someone to whom you have no other ties with so that all stays objective. This thread is a good example of how touchy this topic can be~ Well put, dawntreader, thanks. You are right - to be involved with the person who coaches - yup, may not be a good thing. A neutral paid person would be best here. I was thinking too simply. More about a little caring support, a massage after, a specially prepared healthy meal ... Some do best under a doctors care . I need to add - please don't think that any of us just hatch out of an egg all perfect and stay that way. ( Pffffttt) I fall off the excercise wagon, gain and lose 10LBS over and over again. This may be minor, but ... nodody is ever "there" . Life is a constant challange and this bit is no different. Obviously you are a very bright lady. We all struggle.
