just curious...
if she has had no prior relationships....and a life with little life experiences to draw from ( ie cleaner slate )>>> how does she know what she wants and needs in "a" relationship, let alone her relationship with you (someone who, since you are here on CM, I will assume,  have very specific desires and needs in your preference of relationship types)??

and when you say  " easier to work with "  .....for some reason > I read " easier to control"   "less of her own mind and so less work for you " ??

I think that the conversation is finally getting around to the truth of the matter: It's not the sub's age or even their experience level that causes someone to choose a partner. No, it's how well you can connect with them on an emotional level that seems to be the overriding factor. Frankly, expereince tends to be something that I've found to be more of an intimidator, than an "edge." Dominants find out I've done a LOT of stuff in the 20+ years of being in the scene, and suddenly they are backing off, feeling "performance anxiety" about playing with me. It's sad, but there have been times I've witheld extensive information about my history, just so I could get others to play with me. This anxiety on their part is so silly. (Just because you have had meals at four star resterurants, doesn't mean you've given up on home cooking.) It's more about how much I'm attracted to them, rather than how well I think they could swing their floggers, or tie a knot. As far as the age factor goes: I think most people enjoy being with people who who shares their history... who will "get" their references in conversation. Youth really only offers a certain energy to the mix. Frankly, there are times I prefer slow and sensual to fast and frantic. There's a lot of "gray area" in this topic... but for the most part, I see people pairing off with others based on other criteria.

There is a wonderful old saying:

"Youth and enthusiasm is no match for old age and treachery" :)

ROTFL   Im in my twenties and thin. So many subs are FAT.  REAL FAT.  Like NO young subs girls are fat???
Nobody had babies young or got knocked up in HS? Yeah OK.
I know girls who are 20 and can't even touch there toes. If they try to kneel they can't get up.

Everbody matures different.   Im pretty nice but most of my gfs mock older men. They make such fools of themselves and look stupid.  These two girls I know , behind the mans back when they are not looking but buying us drinks all night and we act like we will fuck them ( NOT)  They do the L loser sign crack up and get the rest of us to laugh by texting all night across the bar.

Im glad I waited for Falcon. He is 30 so not too old. In school, all i did was have fun.    just forget it. LOL

Then I checked your ad page.

What an incredibly rude comment to make to someone. 34 is certainly not old

LATEXBABY64 -> RE: Younger subs vs. older subs:Who has the edge? (8/26/2007 11:49:45 AM)

i did see a post about someone saying about how we pick someone based on commonalties or chemistry I found i have little in common with someone in their twenties.. not enough for a foundation to much of a varied thinking difference. like the generational gap.. belief system is all a different value structure on how we are raised and culture
for example ask them who Styx was lol or mountain or some other band or what event went on a certain time or the date lynard sknard crashed or tough skin jeans that came in different colors all kinds of things that we lived through they could not identify with Vietnam war disco among others lol...

How nice can you really be if you lead men on just for drinks? Your friends are just being more honest about it. When a man asks to buy me a drink I tell them very clearly, "If you want to enjoy it with me as friends, sure, but I'm very taken and I'm not going home with you tonight." Sometimes they just want someone to talk to and I've had some great conversations that way.

And who says a  young person wouldn't know about Styx, or Skynard? That's a culture peole can learn.

What about the people whose interests include 1950s household. They weren't alive in the 50's yet  they're still interested in it.  Just because someone wasn't born in a certain decade doesn't mean they don't identify with it. Look at all the SCA fans.

I'm 21, and have very little in common with someone my age.  It's the rare 20-something that can keep my attention. That being said, there ar some older men that can't keep my attention either.

It's about compatibility, how well I'm able to get along with someone. And age doesn't even factor into that.

LATEXBABY64 -> RE: Younger subs vs. older subs:Who has the edge? (8/26/2007 12:07:55 PM)

would you like test that theory lol

DarkDaddyZ -> RE: Younger subs vs. older subs:Who has the edge? (8/26/2007 12:07:56 PM)

~fast reply musings~

They say older makes you wiser and that may be true.  However I agree it can also make you more jaded (I know it has made me more jaded and I had to have a long talk with myself).  I admit when I meet potential partners the more play (or physical) experience they have with BDSM especially more extreme players (which a preference of mine) seem to think that supersedes my desire and expectation of non physical service and that has caused some issues.  Because to me it's about all aspects of power exchange.  I've met potential partners with limited experience at age 43 who crave power exchange and I've met 25 year olds who have bottomed since they were 18 and into age play yet believe that the fact they play harder gives them one up on one who may be more about service... which one do you think I'd pick?

Also, the "hard bodies" comment.... what may be a hard body to some may not be a hard body to others.....

Why would any of my posts make you think I was 18? Shoot, when I was 18 I was too nieve to notice the type of hypocracy I commented on.. Does something about my profile suggest I'm not 34? If so, what?

mrbob726 -> RE: Younger subs vs. older subs:Who has the edge? (8/26/2007 12:36:44 PM)

I recall the great comedian George Burns - when asked why he didn't date women his own age, he replied " there are no women my age". Age is relative - "old" is always 10 years older than you are. (I'm 22, with 50 years experience)
