ORIGINAL: DiurnalVampire quote:
ORIGINAL: DrkJourney It drives me totally insane when I am "trying" to negotiate with a prospective slave, and all I get is, "I am submissive, I am into whatever the Domme is into, it's their call" or the famous "I don't have limits it's all about what "you" want" Whenever I used to get this, I used to make sure that anything I thought they might HATE I tried first. Once they objected, Id say "See, you DO have preferences... now let's talk" My partners are not always about romance. Actualy, very infrequently are they about romance. Angel is my baby. Kitten was my pain pet. No romance on either, really. I have given up Kitten for school, and realized that the number of whiny S-types increases when you are looking to add them to a family rather than focusing on them. I made it realy clear form the get go that Angel was not a variable, he was not going anywhere. This was seen as a challenge rather than an absolute. So, to add to what Jen ranted about... how about those that bitchy and whine when wedont get as attached to them as they do to us, even when we have told them from the beginning we weren't going to get attached? DV **edited to add this doesnt refer simply to malesubs. This refers to any of the S-types that whine after I have been as frank as I cn possibly be. Thi isnt gender-specific... it comes from both sides. ** Back when I was certain I was a submissive and talking to my first "Dom" boyfriend, I said that same thing, "I don't have limits, I just want to please you." Jim said, "ok," stood up and grabbed a HUGE baseball bat and told me to bend over. He did NOT intend on using it for batting practice, is all I'm going to say here. Yep, I learned very quickly I did have limits and claiming that I didn't was just silly.
