A minority listen to him. However, with Islam being the 2nd largest religion, and the fastest growing, in the world, a minority seems like a hwole lot. As for converting to Islam: I'm an Atheist and damn happy about it.

That's more like determinism than nihilism, and there must be more to Islamic theology than that. If all is as Allah wills, then Allah doesn't give a fuck whether I convert to Islam or not. NorthernGent stated we have had socialist governments, not a Nation which you are saying. To think medicine was the only socialist policy to take effect since the conception of the labour party is very simplistic. The deaths in Algeria were caused by a civil war and not by there being a socialist state.

You know what I do my own research, and while there are propaganda pitfalls, it seems your playing the other spectrum of the political party line. When someone claims something it is that persons responsibility to back it up. For instance if I claim the moon is made out of cheese, and no one else believes me I have to verify it and bring out the evidence. If I don't then I end up being the one spewing propaganda. On the other hand if its pretty much common knowledge that the earth has gravity (unless were trying to prove how it works) we take it for what its worth. Other then socialized medicine please show me where either country was socilist. I have already researched both nations to a decent exstent and have never seen that claimed to have occured. There are two reasons why I never heard this. Also realize that I have studied the movement of communism and Russian culture, I think I probably would have run across this. 1. You have fringe beliefs not held by anyone in the world of international politics as valid. 2. I just didn't come across this narrow band of knowledge. I will refrain sluring at this point, and I have a bad habbit of doing that so if I offend you I apologise, but I think your blowing smoke up alot of peoples posteriors.

The Prophet Mohammed before calling for jihad sent out an offer to the infidels to embrace Isalm. If they did not, jihad began. It is still part of the Islamic religion regarding jihad to invite to join them first, if not wage a holy war. One can wonder if this is not what Bin Laden is doing in this most recent tape.
