Sexually, it makes much more sense for one woman to have a harem of many men since women are usually multiorgasmic and men have to wait awhile (sometimes a LONG while) before having intercourse again. I think it is unrealistic to think that one person could saisfy all of another's needs, desires, fetishes, etc., so a harem of several slaves of various sexual orientations makes perfect sense

Maybe I am looking at this the wrong way, but if a lady has a harem of slaves, couldn't they easily support her financially?

It depends on how one views the role of the harem. Traditionally harems simply isolate women from the world for the exclusive use of one man. They were an economic drain outside of the fact that most members represented political ties to other nobles around the world. Few members of a harem would be out right slaves, most would be concubines or wives, rank more dependent on the position of her father and family and her number/gender of children than simply the lord's whim. I would LOVE to have a harem. BUT...there would have to be some modifications to the original terms as Tammy and others have stated. 1) They boys would all have to be in chastity, unless I released them. 2) they would all have to work and maintain their own living expenses. 3) They would all have to get along. 4) they would all have to live in their own house. As I too have children and DCFS and the ex would frown profusely over this. I think it could be done, and I know I for one would love to walk into a room and have 5 or 6 boys waiting to do any thing and everything for Me. But as MystressDream has said, and makes a valid point in saying, this life style is NOT all about sex. Its about the mental control, its also about the bonds and friendship that come with the sub/slave. There has to be more than physical attraction.

Ah, the more I think about it.......I have to admit, it MIGHT be fun, but there would have to be rules and regulations in place to ensure my sanity. Yes, I suppose if you modify the "harem" concept so that the men involved are able to leave the house and work to support themselves and me. [:D] It takes money to house so many boys and provide them with all it takes to keep them healthy and happy, much less to maintain their skills and training.
