ORIGINAL: BitaTruble To be honest, I kind of don't get it. In my mind, the chemistry needs to work from the top down, not from the bottom up. I feel his power, but that doesn't mean that someone else will. It just seems backwards to me. If he finds a submissive and they feel his power, he can work things out as he deems fit between the three or more of us. If I find a submissive and they don't feel his power, then I've wasted my time, their time and his time. With time being both finite and uncertain, that just doesn't seem to be a good use of what little I may have in my life and his. Celeste I recently experienced this situation, except that his slave was not trolling for him but when she and I became friends, she introduced me to him, he was looking for another and he started pursuing me. I made the assumption that since she is such a wonderful slave and so happy with him, that he must be a wonderful Master, and that I would be happy with him, too. While he's apparently just what she needs, it was a horrible experience for me. I never felt that connection and found him to be harsh, controlling, rude and generally crushing to my spirit. It ended very badly and at least for the time being, she and I are not even able to be friends. So while I agree that it's important for slaves to get along, I think you're right that the primary connection (and submission) has to be between the Master and each of his slaves. If that's not there, it just won't work, no matter how much I adore and respect his other slave.
