He started out asking legitimate questions then he just became a smart ass. It went  down hill from there. Obviously he was from the Young Republicans club.

That nut was shouting that "George Bush stole the 2004 election from John Kerry"

Do you honestly believe that your average "Young Republican" adheres to far left beliefs such as those?

Naw... that guy is makes Michael Moore look like the founding member of the George Bush fan club!!!

It's called College Republicans, actually, and I'm in the UF chapter.  We didn't send him.  ;)

We're watching a video about it in a culture class and they have a video of him outside, after the take him out, before they take him away and he's sitting there, on a bench, handcuffed.  The cops are surrounding him, but all about 4-6 feet away.  All of a sudden, he starts screaming HELP ME THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL ME, I'M BEING MURDERED, HELP ME, THEY'RE KILLING ME!

Well, if a pig will tazer you without them being in any sort of danger, what *WON'T* they do?

I see no reason why they would even try to remove him, seeing that Kerry was talking to him and it wasn't threatening. If Kerry had asked him to leave or he refused to give up the microphone when asked then all of this would have been appropriate.

The police need fired, regardless of the antics of the student up to the point of seemingly spontaneous removal.

Anyway, I'm glad Kerry didn't win, who'd want a president, that doesn't flinch an eyelid, when the police start dragging people off for no reason. After listening and watching that, Kerry is a coward.

In a FAIR world, this kid would get to strap the Pigs to chairs, and taser their balls.

So, he's just going to get a settlement from the Pigs and UF.

Your taxdollars at work, because these animals are out of control.

Is this the video that you are referring to?  ....

It seems like your description of what transpired is way off or perhaps you saw something different?   Just curious.

I'm working off of memory from seeing the vid this morning, but did they not in fact try more than once to get him to give up the microphone? And his response was "Kerry spoke for a couple of hours, I can speak for a few minutes"?

Not many people are there to hear him speak for "a few minutes"; neither is he having a conversation, he and the rest of the audience are there to ask as simple and direct questions as possible, in order to give the speaker a chance to present his thoughts.

And this kid, he seems to enjoy doing little stunts like this:

Having said that........ no, I don't think he should have been tasered. Kicked in the nuts maybe, but not tasered.

Yeah, you could hear Kerry saying he wanted to answer.  Kerry did not kick the man out, nor supress him.  Kerry wanted to answer the question.  I think this episode shows his leadership skills, and to the fact that Kerry can't lead a room full of people, in a question /answer discussion.  Kerry was unable to get the cops to do what he wanted.  Everyone ignored and disrespected him.  He came off looking like a fool.  The idea that he could run the nation is/was ridiculous.

Actually, bush has never let critics get close, they get arrested or hauled off, before he speaks.Plus, he never gets in front of  random, normal audience. They`re all pre-picked ,from lists of republicans. All audience questions are pre-set,and staged.Everybody knows this.

So we don`t actually know how bush would react. My guess is that he`d puss out, like most republicans do.They hate getting cornered,or asked tough questions.Remember the soldier in Iraq, who asked Ronald Dumsfeld a tough question about the lack of armor?Remember his reaction?Bush never gets tough questions, and rarely faces questions from the press.

At least Kerry has the guts to face critics, and take tough questions.Kerry showed character, something lucky dog knows little about. As to how Kerry would have led,we don`t know.Anyone speculating, is only guessing.

But we DO KNOW,however, how badly bush HAS been, and how much damage he HAS done.We know how ridiculous a pesident he HAS been.No need to imagine,or guess how bad he would have been. After 7 years,we know all to well.
bush is the worst president in American history.

"He came off looking like a fool".

Talk about looking foolish, check out how foolish bush looks,as he is pushed off, after groping the female German Canceler,Angela Merkel.

For the pussies who were offended by the passion and zeal of the student,

this is democracy in action.Sometimes politics is messy, and loud.Sometimes it looks like chaos.I`ll take that situation, over getting hauled off, just to keep the faint of heart, from getting upset. If the town hall, auditorium.or village square,is to hot for you,why don`t you watch a ball game,or a movie, where everything is neat and clean.

actually owner59 I was pointing out that Kerry had no controll over the room.  We can see how he led that room, not well, the people there to protect him were ignoring him.  I do think if the situation were reversed, the security team would have listened to Bush.  Bush and his team would have had tight controll. So I know little about character?  ok  you base that on what?  or simply throwing an insult?  I guess if you don't have much of a point you have to resort to that.  Rumsfled's reaction? He answered the question.

I fail to see any foolishness in the video you cited.  I certainly do not see anyone ignoring Bush.

The point is Kerry was enduring the questioning, and was agreeing to answer the questions. If Kerry didn't have a problem with the questioning, he being the target of the questioning, I see no reason for the police to drag him off. I've watched the video by domiguy to, as well as the one below, along with the OP's. It is not illegal to ask a question, when the questionee is agreeing to be questioned.

It's just crazy.

The kid was resisting arrest.  Whether he should have been arrested is debatable, certainly.  The campus may have a policy against disruptions, and by demanding that he be allowed to continue his diatribe which, only happened to contain a couple of questions that apparently he really didn't want answered, he created said disruption.  When you resist arrest, the police have the right to use the force necessary to contain you.  That includes taser.  This is for everyone's safety, including the person being arrested.  All the rest, whether he should have been arrested, etc., can be determined later.  If you're being arrested, do what the nice man says or pay the consequences.   He was asked repeatedly to stop, he was told he would be tazed if he did not stop.  He didn't stop.  Now before you flame me for the safety thing, once it's decided you're being arrested, whether you agree or not, you will be arrested.  If you choose to buck authority and resist, then it is entirely possible you could get hurt, whether you're tasered or not.  They do not want to hurt you.

I wouldn't say Kerry didn't "have a problem" with the questions, the tone of his voice says that he perhaps did; he asked 2 or 3 times "so what's your question". The guy finally asks one, doesn't give Kerry a chance to answer, then starts in with "didn't you want to be President?"..... "were you a member of Skull and Crossbones like Bush?", and about impeaching Bush, and Clinton getting a blowjob.....

Prior to being jumped by the Pigs, what crime was he committing, and being arrested for?

You can't be "Resisting", unless you're being "Arrested", and you you can't be "Arrested" without a charge.

So, what was the CHARGE causing his arrest, of which you allege he was resisting.

I didn't hear ANY Pig say, "You are under arrest for....."

Did you?

Pigs torturing a Civilian with electroshock.

That's all this is.

Caught on Tape!

The kid who got tazed was the only one who was interrupting free speech rights. Everyone who was assembled there was there to hear John Kerry, but the kid tried to make that impossible. It's like the Leftists who tried to disrupt the RNC convention, thereby denying Republicans the right to assemble and the right to free speech. That boy and the rest of the ultra left are the only true Nazis in this picture, if you ask me.
