oh my. I just read a couple of the KJRs (knee-jerk reactions) and it turns out I'm supposed to sit here and read each and every one of your posts and KJRs and then KJR to them in return, but I'm not allowed to embellish on the OP (even though it's M I N E) although everyone ELSE does. AND I have to be willing to enter into your open-minded discourse on the subject and see it YOUR way. Well shucks, WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME THAT?? shit. ok, I'm listening. ENLIGHTEN ME WALMART SHOPPERS

AquaticSub -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/23/2007 6:41:50 AM)

I don't know. I'm not sure if I've ever looked at that thread or not.

Sinimint -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/23/2007 7:19:54 AM)

Hmm I dont get it - why does where you shop have anything to do with this subject?

Ohhhh steamy now I see, it's the Posh Spice haircut!!!!

SultrySub4M -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/23/2007 1:35:20 PM)

Maybe that's your problem Steamy...you shop at WalMart.  As for Nefertari's comment, I think you are giving her waaaayyyy too much credit!  Pavlovian?  Get real!  And as far as the "attention" she is getting, well it is righteous to out a racist any where and any time.  She is the ant on the sidewalk and we are just holding the magnifying glass in exactly the right spot to fry her up!  But, yes.  Time to move on.  Steamy, I hope you will be a bit more careful in the future and edit your OP's to reflect a higher level of consciousness but first you must locate your brain (not to mention your heart).

I think a lot of you are bent.  Lots of post about her needing negative attention and yet by posting you GIVE it! I can see the logic in that. NOT! I thought the mexican comment was meant to raise the ire of the posters.  And it certainly did....Pavlov would be proud of you steamy.

p.s. Did anyone remember or go back and read the thread in question before they pontificated?  By the way, how many armchair psychiatrists, psychologists are there in CM?  Every thread has some "diagnosis."  Do you make a good living by being an internet psychiatrist?

Obviously the armchair psychiatrists posting before are joined by another. lol.  For clarification purposes, some of us are professionals and have an education and profession to back our opinions.

It was, however a good point about feeding into negative attention seeking and rewarding it. Pavlov would indeed be proud. He, as well as others, would be very concerned as well with the reasons behind the attention seeking behavior.
I forget who I am quoting here but "behavior rewarded, will continue."  Maybe that's the advice for the rest of us who are responding to this post.

I seem to remember that attention seeking behavior, especially when willing to settle for negative attention rather than none at all, is a sign of mental illness. I wonder if that applies here ? Regressive, childlike behavior, projection, denial, failure to take responsibility, antagonistic/aggressive action, and an undeniable seeking of attention at all cost. hmmmmm something to think about

Well, oh 'enlightened' one. If you were one of these "professionals" that have "an education and profession" to back your opinions you would never begin a statement with "I seem to remember ..." for a number of reasons. The main one being that as a professional you'd be dealing with these ideas and concepts on a daily basis. You wouldn't have to reach back into the recesses of your memory to when you took that one abnormal psych class in community college to come up with something that almost sounds like you might possibly know what you could be talking about. Go blow sunshine up someone else's skirt honey. You're not fooling anyone but maybe your fellow ignoramuses.

Perhaps it is time for you to grow up and stop being such an ignorant person.

Let me add to that, you're a woman, so of course you're a more thoughtful,  introspective, and sensitive dominant. Which leads me to my next point: ladies, in my opinion it is a grave mistake to give a man so much credit as to hand your life and welbeing over to him carte blanche. They'll run your finances into the ground if they're not watched. If you let them dress you you'll end up looking like a drag queen.. I mean, c'mon.

You have to find the man worthy.
&& What's wrong with dressing in drag?
Tim Curry did it.
End of.

steamynotraunchy -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/25/2007 6:54:56 PM)

Jesus, are you serious? First of all, I said they'd dress you like a drag queen, not dress you in drag. You can't dress a woman in drag, idiot.  To dress in drag you have to be a MAN. My god. And drag queens are infamous for dressing like Dolly Parton at her gaudiest. THAT'S what's wrong with it. GET IT?

twistedkytten -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/25/2007 6:58:09 PM)

Sure you can. You dress her as a man. You buy one of those fake penises, put in your pants, tape down your breasts and wear stereotypical "man" clothes. I see it all the time.

My oldest won a drag contest dressing as a man. Her boyfriend didn't recognize her when she met him at the party because she looked that male.

Why would someone think a woman couldn't dress in drag????

I've seem some men dressed in drag who were gorgeous. Not over done or anything.

Just my thoughts........

AquaticSub -> RE: to submit or not to submit, that is my question (9/25/2007 7:37:45 PM)

Back when I was slender and only had a C-cup I got stuck playing Beowulf in a class project. Three boys, one girl and they made me Beowulf - I was the only one with a sword and I wouldn't let them use it. It was pretty funny. We teased my Dad that it was the closest he would ever get to having a son.

Hmm..You actually can- by the by- dress a girl in drag. It's called a female to male tranny. My best friend is one. I'd tell you how, but people already beat me to it.
Nice hassle team.
Facts dollface, they'll really come in handy when you're trying to look like a big shot over the internet.
