You think that's farfetched?

Answer this: If the Iraqi Government *DID* kick out Blackwater, and they didn't want to go, WHO would have made them leave? There are more of the Mercenaries there than US Troops, so WE can't tell them what to do, can we?

"A last-minute campaign by the Defense Department and the White House to kill the measure"

Those people at the Defense Department and White House, playing politics with our soldier's lives...

Shameful...

So the "left plays politics" but the right invades countries we didn't need to invade and does a  piss poor job of it but that is okay.

Since it is a political system, how the fuck else do you get things done without doing it politcally?  As long as we have dumb fucks who believe that sort of horseshit, politicials will have to act like imbicils because that is all the dumb fucks understand.

Take Move-ons ad, it is spot on to attack Patreus but politically it was stupid ONLY because the dumb fucks can't figure it out.

Actually, Simply, it seems that "stupid" might not be the word for Dems to be throwing around right now...  It might alienate the base and the Indie voters ya'll are going to need.  Republicans are the most highly educated voters of the three....

Education:
Independents, 41 percent high school or less, 33 percent some college, 26 percent college graduate;
Republicans, 27 percent high school or less, 33 percent some college, 40 percent college graduate;
Democrats, 33 percent high school or less, 30 percent some college, 38 percent college graduate.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070923/ap_po/irked_independents_numbers;_ylt=Aq5NBc.QFZ_zdlEtJZYjh7us0NUE

Now that doesn't fit the talking points at all, does it?

Variations all within the sampling error and even if the numbers are accurate, they aren't significantly different.

Not for the Independents.  Those are votes your side might not wish to piss off in the next round...

Politics isn't about truth, it is about getting morons to vote your way.  Bush knew how to do it, that is how he got America to abandon the fight against terrorism and invade Iraq so his friends could reap billions in profits.  He convinced millions of idiots that Katrina wasn't an example of gross negligence and had nothing to do with the fact that those were poor black Democrats.  He almost convinced enough idiots that privitizing social security was a good idea.  He still has idiots convinced there is some mythical victory in Iraq despite never having defined what victory looks like.  Yep, politics is about convincing millions of idiots that this or that idea is good and the other one is bad.  Rove was a frigging genius at doing it, so was Carvile.  The current batch of Dems, not so much.

Face it, the Republican party is the party of the filthy rich and the increadibly stupid.  It worked for a long time but even stupid people catch on eventually.  The trick is not to let them know you think they are fucking stupid, at least if you are trying to get them to vote your way.  I aint' running for anything so I don't mind telling people who think we are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here that they are fucking morons.

How's that going by the way?

Better than the Democrat's plan.

Lovely statement Sanity, allow me to summarize your cogent points.

Democrats plan:  Middle East is a conflict ridden hell-hole, but it is too expensive to go over there and fight a war that will not accomplish anything, so do nothing except build the infrastructure of our own country.

Republican plan:  Middle East is a conflict ridden hell-hole, so borrow money from China, bankrupt the United States, destroy our relationships with every other country on the planet, and destroy our military over there in order to accomplish exactly nothing.

Glad to see you support the Republican approach.

Sinergy

If by some bizarre coincidence you were actually correct and the Democrat plan were to do nothing, as you say, it would be a huge improvement to kissing up to and coddling everyone in the world who would like nothing more than to kill us.

Like the way Bush gave into Bin Laden's demands to withdraw US Troops from his homeland, Saudi Arabia?

Calm down, farglebargle.

President Bush obviously wanted those troops placed somewhere else, and he most likely didn't move them to where your "friend of the Jewish people" Osama Bin Laden would have wanted him to.

Actually he did.  Osama wanted America to invade a Muslim country but he never expected the bonanza that Iraq has been for them.

I really dont see why people take the media so seriously. Its all biased in some fashion. Truth is somewhere between the two sides.

What ever happened to not giving into terrorist demands? Hey, given the timing, it seems more like "Bush NEEDED to obey Bin Laden and NEEDED a place to move the soldiers TO, therefore.... INVADE IRAQ!".

If there was a GOOD reason to move the troops which wasn't Bush Capitulating to the Enemy, what was it? Iraq wasn't ever a threat to you or I. And given the provable lies Bush Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Powell, et. al. went out of their way to tell, I guess there wasn't any GOOD reason, was there?

Face it. Bush surrendered to the terrorists. And everyone who supports Bush, supports that policy.

We had Clinton for six years with a Republican Congress.  Iraq was never invaded.

We had Bush for some number of months with a Republican Congress.  Iraq was invaded.

Do the math.

Sinergy

p.s. Please dont bring up 9/11 twaddle to justify AnencephalyBoy invading.  The PNAC wanted to invade for years, and Iraq was not remotely involved in 9/11.

9/11 twaddle

C'mon, Sinergy, admit it.  You're not really a granola-nibbling progressive or even a liberal at all are you?  You're an undercover agitator for the RNC and have never returned a check from the Bush Administration uncashed, right?

9/11 Twaddle???  That event put more political capital in the President's pocket than this country has seen since at least 12/7/41.  The Dems went right along on sending our troops in. I refuse to be believe you are too foolish to know that.

SimplyMichael pointed out one of the great truths a little way up the page.  Why, other than for the rather incredible reason I suggested, would you work so damn hard to keep the morons who LIKE America from even considering voting for your side?

Spare us the particulars of your non-affiliation with the Democrat party.  It must be nice for you to live in a state where you can comfortably rely on the side you hate being beaten by the side you sneer at and cast your 'protest' vote.  But we all know who you hate.  Or is that just what we're supposed to think?
