9/11 twaddle

C'mon, Sinergy, admit it.  You're not really a granola-nibbling progressive or even a liberal at all are you?  You're an undercover agitator for the RNC and have never returned a check from the Bush Administration uncashed, right?

9/11 Twaddle???  That event put more political capital in the President's pocket than this country has seen since at least 12/7/41.  The Dems went right along on sending our troops in. I refuse to be believe you are too foolish to know that.

SimplyMichael pointed out one of the great truths a little way up the page.  Why, other than for the rather incredible reason I suggested, would you work so damn hard to keep the morons who LIKE America from even considering voting for your side?

Spare us the particulars of your non-affiliation with the Democrat party.  It must be nice for you to live in a state where you can comfortably rely on the side you hate being beaten by the side you sneer at and cast your 'protest' vote.  But we all know who you hate.  Or is that just what we're supposed to think?

I dont understand anything you have posted here, TheHeretic.  I am not sure an attempt to clarify will do more bu tamuse me, but feel free if being obtuse works for you.

For those playing the home game, I used the term 9/11 twaddle to refer to the alleged connection between Al Qaeda and their knocking down 2 buildings and killing 5000+ people AND Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Getting the casualty number wrong in your indignant reply was a nice touch.  Yours or Rove's?

You can ask for clarifications all you like, but the questions are going to stay, "why do you try so hard to alienate people who aren't self-loathing American, 'we deserved it,' punks?"  Why are you conceding the "Country" vote to the Repubs?

And until I find a better answer, I'm sticking with my hypothesis.

(omg...  Bush would need deniability....  Holy shit....  It's Cheney, isn't it?)

I knew it.

You never see TheHeretic and Karl Rove at the same party.

I was less indignant and more puzzled.  It is difficult to keep a straight face when you insist on accusing me
of being the reason we are still in Iraq.

If it works for you, keep it up.

Rich,

You just love to dance around things.  The Dems didn't invade Iraq, Bush's daddy stopped short of overthrowing Saddam.  Only one president decided to do it and he did it against some pretty heavy advice that exactly what has happened would happen.

Nobody forced Bush to do it without a plan, nobody forced Bush to refuse to deal with reality, nobody forced Bush to staff the reconstruction with Republican interns.  Bush created the mess in Iraq all by himself and did so while the Republicans in congress went on a wild spending spree as their payoff.

The Republican's not only own this war, they own the disaster it was destined to be whenever it comes.  There is no victory in Iraq, hell you can't even tell me what "victory" means in any real terms.
