You know, I don't like this trend of legislators weighing in on Protected Speech. Even if is is from a Junkie, it's too close for comfort. Of course, that neglects the whole, "Airwaves are a regulated resource" point, but I'm still bothered by it.

I think it is funny how Democrats keep attacking a man who is not running for any office. Democrats attacking Rush Limbaugh only strokes Limbaugh's ego. He gets off on that.

Then he claims to have only been talking about one, particular guy,who was caught impersonating a soldier.So the "phony soldiers" comment, was supposedly about only one soldier.Then he adds to the list,lol,decorated Vietnam vet Jack Mertha.Witch kinda blows a hole in the lame story,that he was just talking about only one (singular)soldier.

Here's the catch 22. Regardless of how one feels about the war, criticising the troops for it is detrimental. They risk their lives for us and have no control over it...right? If I read the article correctly he's criticising troops for criticising the war.....isn't this a circular loop? l

1. Rush is an idiot for saying that and sometimes just an idiot. 2. Some of those same Dems yelling about Rush were the same ones that voted no to backing Gen. Petraeus when moveon.org besmirched him....wierd huh?

That's a good point, the anti-war protesters have said some much more hurtful things about our troops than Rush has. Even go back to Vietnam where anti-war protesters spit on our troops as they came home and called them baby-killers because of the anti-war propaganda fueled by the communists. You want to put a leftist on Armed Services Radio? Why? So he can insult Patraeus like Moveon.org did?

The hippies were all high on pot as they protest the war and root on communism against the evil capitalists. That's common knowledge. That anger isn't as intense today. But there are some on the extreme left that are. A reporter recently went inside a "peace" rally of anti-war protesters in D.C. and the reporter said that he had never recieved so many threats of being killed in his life. Moveon.org has basically called Patraeus a traitor.

Well who cares what they say about Patraeus? He's brass. And I was talking about current times, not Vietnam. You're talking about a very, very fringe element within the anti-war movement today that are like that. They are so insignificant IMO that it doesn't really mean anything about the anti-war movement as a whole.
