ORIGINAL: PsyVamp ~Psy. ( who isn't at all paranoid about WalMart. I'm a fan of low prices) I'm not paranoid about it, I just hate it. Here's my experience today that brought on the post. I'm in a hurry and have ZERO groceries because I'm horrible at being domestic despite the fact I'm female. I am juggling a few things in an aisle (not literally, but trying to pick up a few things at once to get out of there). I drop two things, the stock guy standing next to me sees it, and stands about a foot away from me and watches me try to pick them up and continue to drop other things and does nothing. Next I proceed to the frozen food section where the frozen pizza refrigerator is (my niece is a vegetarian and lives off of cheese pizza and drops by unannounced often, cheese pizza is a must have), and the thing is full, the light is off and it won't open. I look around for someone to ask, there's noone around, so I say, fine forget the pizza. I go up to the front line to check out where there's got to be a good 30 people waiting in line and 4 checkers despite the fact there's 30 aisles. I get in an aisle and the older woman in front of me is doing "price comparing" which is some odd ritual of telling WalMart another store has a cheaper price, proving it and getting that price. Sounds like a good deal huh? NO, because I'm not exaggerating when I tell you there's a good 15 people waiting for 10 minutes for this exchange due to the lack of checkers. Finally, not wanting to miss my meeting, I leave my full cart there and walk out. By the time I left, I wanted to do grave physical damage to someone connected to WalMart and I'm not ordinarily a violent type. By the way PsyVamp I LOVE the slinky quote. l
