When I say that I am not dominated or feel vibes from dominent women, I mean "JUST ME". I never speak for others or judge how they live or believe (unless it infringes on someone elses rights). I have many lady friends who are dominent with the men in their life. That doesn't bother me at all. My ex mother in law was the most dominent bitch (sorry .. we didn't get along so I find it very hard to not be judgemental) I ever knew. Up until my father in law died he was the most pussy whipped man I ever knew. She actually thought she was going to boss me around when I married her daughter. That lead to a few fights. Even as a short little kid with a big mouth, I didn't back down, even when the older kids kicked my ass. I just don't like anyone telling me what to do. Its just too much in me. I tell my bosses to give me goals to reach and get out of my way. It usually works pretty well. This is how I am. What others do ... good lord, I don't have the time or interest to get involved. I am the way I am. I let others worry about what they are. So, can a woman be dominent? Not to me!

Back on topic. the Op is entiltled to her opinon. As we all are. She simply doesnt want to submit to a female.. no big freaking whopped' deal. Doesnt feel like submitting to a female? Ok, fine. To be honest I am hard as hell pressed to find a male to submit to. Most I find are just terribly disapointing. As for women not being dom. at all we all have opinions on that. We have all met enough people to know that there are submissive and dom. people of every walk of life. They are personality traits... not some mystical birthmark only a few chosen ones get. Mind you not all Dom/mes are created equal. ~Be they male/female ~black, purple, blue, red or green. With or without red hair.. winks People get thier nickers all up in a bunch any time they think some one is telling them they arent what they are. Just be content that you know who you are.. and hope others become enlightened. The time you take to realize that you may just notice they ment no offence. Again on the flip side if you brush some one aside and they are not adult enough to just step away realize it is _them_ being childish, not the whole group incapable of dealing well with social interactions. I have served a number of dominant women since I was in my teens, but I cannot generalize from that experience as to their personality type. Yes, one of them was what is generally called a bitch, but the other were not. However, all of them, when in a relationship with a submissive--me or another sub--completley controlled the relationship, psychologically and sexually.

It cracks me up when a "dominant" man tries to get a dominant woman to submit, and the man is only masking his own insecurities. I am a dominant woman who is far from a bitch; I am merely the only child of two older parents who grew up to be independent and assertive. I am not a control freak, and I do not abuse my subs/slaves.

I think, based on my personal experiences; that there is a matter of what constitutes 'dominant' in individuals minds. It is a matter of perception, it is a matter of connection and it is a matter of preferences, e.g. standards, prejudices, bias, traits, etc. In addition, there is a difference between being 'dominant' and being 'domineering.' There is also a difference between a control freak who micro manages and one who has presence that compels someone to do anything short of backflips into thimbles for a person who they see as a 'dominant' and or an 'authority' figure in the relationship. That said, for my personal preferences--I have a lot of knowledge, skills and most of all, I am secure in being 'me.' Since there are many styles in leadership and use of authority; it is my belief to be that I am dominant due to how well served I am at any circumstance be it vanilla or BDSM. Being respectful and living to a code of behavior and attitude that promotes and or invites respectful interactions is a strength to which may out power any nasty chew down and or rude behavior and or arrogant attitudes. In summary, although I am a Dominant; I am not every individual's Dominant. I can be a dominant person without being nasty or shove it in everybody's face. But, I can do this; because my life has trained me in so many ways and in several careers; have taken me as an unmolded lump of steel and have hammered and folded me many times as to shape me into my form. There are two uses for swords. To attack or defend. Although a symbol of rank and or authority, especially in a military sense; the sword means security more than it is used to intimidate and or attack. The attitude and behavior of a Dominant should/could/may be much like a military sword. It is present but rarely used in an intimidating or attack nature. Just some thoughts. xoxi, There is huge difference between a dominant woman and a bitch. Just as there is a huge difference between a dominant man and a knuckle dragging thug. If fact, being a bitch would immediately eliminate the possibility of being dominant, except to a sub/slave who was looking for nothing but a bitch. (only read the first few, sorry I don't usually do this.)
