one of my rules my Master has told me is that everytime i see Him that i am to kneel until told to rise even in public.  i know my place is at His feet but i know i will be very uncomfortable doing this in public especially since i will be meeting Him for the first time in a foreign country, but i dont want to be disobedient and get punished.  i'm curious what others think?

I'm glad I'm not you.  I would not be kneeling in front of a stranger, in a foreign country.

I really don't know what to say except this would be very hard for me too.
I would most likely talk to him and try to strike some type of compromise.

Well, I think you're foolish for calling a man you've never met "Master". I also think forcing the public to be a part of your kink is wrong. I don't think you should give someone you've never met, the power to punish you. For God's sake, you don't even know this man. You're literally putting your life into the hands of a stranger.

Well in a foreign country nobody knows you  . No serious. If you really don't want it you should tell him that.

A red flag would have gone up with me on that situation. i will never submit to anyone on the first meeting that i don't know very well. Plus i would not be flying to any foreign country for anyone. That's just me though.

Or go with Ron's gut. His has a Y pass and hefty presses so at least it's decently healthy, and hey! While you're doing squats you can pretend you're kneeling in front of strange men!

I gotta get me one of them Y passes ..........................................

Well, UNSURESLAVE, I think you need to understand that men on the Internet have been known to say anything, whether its true or not and whether its right or not.  That doesn't mean that you have to fall for everything they tell you or that you have to go along with what they tell you to do.   How can you be a slave to a man you haven't even met?  Are you really willing to let someone you have never met tell you what you are to do when you meet him for the first time?  Are you willing to travel to a foreign country to meet a stranger who is already telling you what you must do?  How do you know you will be safe when you get there?  Remember you don't have the same rights and the same protection in a foreign country that you have in your own.  Why doesnt he fly over to meet you in your country?  If hes already telling you what you must do when you first meet him and your willingness to go along with it would tell me that he can do anything he wants with you once you are there and there won't be anyone for you to turn to over there, unless your taking someone else along with you.  It's one thing to talk about what would be expected of you if and when you became his slave.  Thats a good thing to do but, for a stranger on the internet to start dictating to you before he is anything more than a name on your computer screen isnt right and if your willing to go along with that it tells me that your either very gullible or very desperate.

unsure if your not comfortable with this then tell Him.  Even after being with my Owner for five years i wouldn't be comfortable doing anything lifestyle related in public.  i live in the south so if i slip and call my Owner Sir in public it's no big deal but as far as doing anything else it wouldn't humble me, it would humiliate me and not in the good sense.

my advice is to speak with this man and tell Him that at least for now, at least until you get to know one another better your not comfortable, explain to Him that you do have a desire to submit to Him and what He desires from you but doing so in public is not something that your ok with at the moment, if He doesn't accept that then maybe He's not choice for you and you may want or need to consider meeting this guy at all as hard as it may seem.

Best wishes,

~meticulous~

Along with Osides comments- really no one's going to notice someone quietly and softly walking up to another and going to their knees.  Even if they do, they won't be alarmed enough to call attention to it or have any reason to react.

If you want, add a hanky as a prop and drop it when you get close.  I've knelt in front of people in public more times than I can remember.  I suppose if you or your master WANT to make it into a big scene you could, but really, it's quiet, subtle, and you aren't that important to the world around you for anyone to really care.

The real issue is staying out of traffic lanes- if you're where people need to be walking, then you're being rude.

In my opinion, exposing others that may have adverse reactions to kink in public is just bad taste.  That having been said, it's quite plausible to do things without others knowing of the context.  The real question is, are you comfortable with this?  Personally, I wouldn't do any such thing on a first meeting as I believe open, even ground communication is much more important at that stage.
I would be very careful about behavior in a foreign country, what's amusing and acceptable to people in various places in the US could be a big mistake somewhere else.
good luck,
l

Does his mommy know that he is playing Dom and did he tell her to expect you for dinner?

Seriously, he must be very insecure to put you in that position in public.  And - as many have said before me -you should meet first to find if you are compatible, and then allow him to be your Master after you are sure you are getting what were promised.

Are you supposed to kneel down in the terminal and wait for him to show up?  "You'll recognize me - I'm the Yank who is kneeling at the luggage claim".  And, if things are not feeling right and you are already doing everything he says before you get the 'safe' vibe...you'd hate to have him pull out a hanky while you were kneeling and ask, "Does this smell like chloroform to you?"

As my very dominant father once told me - "Don't use your head for just a hat rack and ear-spacer."

Or, if you want to save airfare, just drive to Raleigh.
Heh, heh, heh.
