Celeste43, maybe you should evaluate why you respond so strongly. After all, if it were turned around and the guy was kneeling looking up at a woman, I'm betting you'd mistake it for a marriage proposal.

Explaining why this nitwit is groveling on the ground licking his boots to an 18 year old is a hell of a lot different than doing it to one 14 years younger. Or can't you see the difference?

so Celeste...   is that an implication that any submissive or slave is a nitwit?  because you fall in that category don't you?  or just ones that kneel?

i really dont recall any mention of feet-kissing, boot-licking, or any other type of shoe shining or groveling...    and fyi  He would be a rather handsome distinguished gentleman in a suit as opposed to the "stereotypical" leather-clad overweight Hell's Angel you seem to have imprinted in your mind...

i prefer not to make a public spectacle in my relationships... i feel the same way about those who show too much public affection. there are better ways to be subtle without "making a scene"

Doing something outside of a private environment doesn't exactly mean being a *spectacle*.  Just because you're in public, it doesn't mean that anything you do is of any interest to other people, either.  I'm not sure why kneeling is construed as being *unsubtle*, it's a pretty innocuous action.

Well I dont know how long you have known this guy but I would assume he is expecting you to kneel to him upon meeting which means yes at the airport...I didnt see any clause in the rules he gave you...I personally dont agree in the whole public kneeling thing to someone I have never met but thats just me.*ponders and edits her post*

I've knelt at my Master's feet in public and it was no big deal. No one looked twice at us. For all they knew He's my spiritual teacher or something of that nature. It's not like I'm licking his feet and making a big show of it...just kneeling, waiting for Him to command me to rise.

the kneeling is the lesser of the two red flags...its the first meeting in a foreign country that alarms Me- its just slightly less daft than my sending $10,000 to a beautiful girl in Ghana who lost her parents and only needs bribe money to come here and be My sex slave forever.....I would have done it too, if I hadn't already invested all my wealth with a corrupt Nigerian businessman wanting to funnel money out of the country.

you'd hate to have him pull out a hanky while you were kneeling and ask, "Does this smell like chloroform to you?"

I'm laughing yet you know that actually happens.

Kneeling in public most certainly does not have to be a spectacle or a scene.
