Interestingly enough according to this I am an Otter under this, but my Totem is actually Wolf. While I do exhibit a few of the Otter tendencies, I am Wolf ALL the way. To be honest however Grrrl I don't see it as racist..more bastardization just another non-native rip of something they don't understand. It's kind of like the tales of Coyote that you can read to children, they have very little to do with His true aspects and tales, but gives only the gentle flavor of mischief, sort of Loki with a laugh. The tales my Grandmother told (Mescalaro Apache) were the old ones and Loki and Grendel were little league players compared to him. I laugh everytime I see someone hang Kokopelli in their house and say they are not interested in having children.

My tree can be traced back to the Bison Clan of the Cherokee and Dancer Clan of the Creek

I am a card-carrying member of the Cherokee nation, Longhair Clan. I didn't find this racist. Perhaps a bit generalized? But not offensive to me. And yes, BlackPhx, I giggle too when I see a Kokopeli rug on someone's floor or hanging in their garden, and it only has 2 legs instead of the 3 (the third leg being his winky) and they are not a kid-friendly house. Tee hee.

I found on this site that most of the Bear traits can be accurate to me, they nailed down Daddy (Deer) for the most part too, but he is definitely not and never would be two-faced. But still interesting and entertaining.
