Well, I'm not quite as skeptical about playing the Knight, but as I have repeatedly told a sub friend of mine in Arizona who would love me to come and "rescue" her, I don't have a suit of armor and a valiant steed. All I have is a tin hat and a mule....

i don't want to be 'swept away'; i want to be brought closer and closer.  i want a time of settling, getting to know Him, and feeling safe with Him.  i'd never want to feel hurt by Him. 
 
i think the 'rescue' fantasy is fine, like any other fantasy, but it shouldn't be the basis for a D/s relationship.  i want to know the real Man, not some role He plays.
