Well, I don't object to the acts. The fact that people out there can be compelled to sell their bodies, even their lives, for what we might consider to be a meager amount of money is objectionable in the respect that it highlights the poverty of these nations.

-Can I hijack this from CuriousLord and pass it off as my own?

Obviously Ewww is judgemental. I guess my cute attempts at humor dont translate well to this forum. 'tis the audience's loss, I assure you...

I'm Ewwwing because, to me, theres alot of stuff wrong with sex for material gain (its boring sex and romance, if nothing else), sex with someone half your age so you can feel in a position of power, and sex where national poverty is exploited.

A non-judgemental ewww isn't the same as 'those sinners and law breakers! think of the children!',
a non-judgemental ewww is simply stating it grosses me out. Sorry if I called people in their fifties grandmas-I know my own mother is in her fifties and she'd have a heart attack if she became a grandmother.

Back to the OP: I think the realization that women are capable of doing the same thing men do is the squick factor here. Now you guys can see what YOU actually look like in the scheme of the practice. It's not pretty, is it. But as they say.. "it's just sex". If a beer-bellied stiff dick has no conscience.. why are you alarmed to find a still-wet pussy of a matron has none either?

People will do what they need to do to survive. It really is their choice. My give-a-damn's busted on this one.

In any case, I am totally confused as to why someone would ew this. I find closed minds to be much less attractive than anyone's phyiscal appearance.

My mother was a grandma at 40. Some of the people I went to high school with are grandparents already. I am old enough to be a grandma myself... And I regularly get younger men that hit on me... now that squicks me out.

Oh I'm not saying young folks can't be grandparents. But the OP jumped to conclusions to call these people "desperate grandmothers" as though being a grandmother with such a libido is a bad thing. AND, the article never stated anything about grandparenthood. His comment was fraught with negative connotations intended to be insulting, and that's what my issue with it was.

About the evolutionary reasons, primates will kick their male offspring out of the social group, or out right ignore them once they reach sexual maturity. There is really only one mating taboo that is universal to primate species, and that is mother/son mating pairs. Many older women are repulsed by the idea of being intimate with men that are close in age to their sons possibly because of a projection of that taboo. Interesting thing, this taboo is not present with male/female offspring... just a little trivia

Gotcha. Your comment was relevant to you, though, and did not "EWWWW" everyone on the planet who might enjoy the younger folks.

It's the word "Ewww" that I find to be very school yard, but that's probably just my own personal hang up! Regardless, insulting an entire group of people who might enjoy what I do not just isn't my thang.

This is an old story. This happens in the US as well. What makes you think these people are unattractive? I didnt see any photos. And Im not sure who your calling rich. The young men or the women. Rich is a relative term as well. Im thinking middle class can afford this type fun. The "rich" dont have to go this route. They have toy boys deiscreetly delivered to them.

Some of the sexiest women I know are in their 50s. If we're fortunate enough, we'll all get to the ripe old ages where our bodies begin to deteriorate. And I have to say, the most gratifying physical experiences I've had to date are with a man who is just a year shy of 60. There are far greater turn offs for me than an "older" body.

Speaking as almost certainly one of the oldest regular posters on CM I can tell you young whippersnappers that we oldies still like a bit of rumpy pumpy now and then..

Which makes me think of another thing... us women are suppose to reach our sexual peak around our mid-thirties... As young men are supposed to be at their peak around their late teens-early twenties, it makes sense that sexual congress is sought by both parties.

So to speak.
