I'm bigger boned with wide shoulders wider than most guys. Also can't wear any standard lady's bracelets or watches. Luckily I am tall (5'11) so I hide my weight well (don't ask) but I'd still like to lose about 3 sizes as long as it doesn't affect what little bit of booty I have, but it will. At my leanest I loved the way I looked but I had haunches like a deer, no booty. [:@] It's very tough finding clothes that fit. Pants are always too short, blouses assume that if my shoulders are that wide then I have humonguous boobs! I don't. And then the belly area will be way way too big. GRRRRR.

I hear you, my bottom is smaller than my top so I can't do a one piece anything and expect it to fit.
Separates are my friends...
(although, I do have a "booty"...lol)  Bracelets, anklets... no way

I dont know if being big boned equates to your weight. People always guess my weight at least 40# less. Some people are lucky that they can carry their age and weight well. I dont know if it is in the jeans. I wear levis.

I'm 5 ft 10 and have a bigger bone structure. I also have long legs which makes finding pants that are long enough a royal pain. My inseam is about a 34. On top of the long legs, I also am long torsoed which causes some problems finding shirts as well.

I am one of those girls that, no matter how thin I get, I will never be smaller than a size 6.  When I was very young, I was extremely self conscious of my weight and size in proportion to the other girls, and I became anorexic.  Even at a mere 101 pounds, I was still a size 7/8.  And I was disgusting looking, with almost every bone protruding.
Now, I am a size 11, and 5'6".   I am just about 160 pounds, give or take a couple depending on the day.  According to the height/weight chart for my age, I am actually "overweight."
But I have learned that for me, this is a healthy weight.  My bones are larger than most women, I am built to naturally have curves.  Do I have a little extra squish?  Sure.  Is it a lot of squish?  No, not really.
In the end, as long as you are at a healthy weight for you, and you think you look good, thats all that matters ^.^
People are far more likely to be attracted to you if you carry yourself like you believe you are attractive, anyway.

I have a large bone structure, broad shoulders, enormous ankles...  Makes it easier to hold up the enormous rack!  I have excellent posture, and long arms and legs, with a short torso, so I look thinner than I am.  I could never be smaller than a size 8, and am a 10 when I am at my optimum weight. 

Big boned is big boned!  Fat is fat.  :)

I always thought i was big boned, think i was just trying to find an excuse for being fat if i'm honest. I'm actually quite daintily boned and only have short legs and arms, everything is always way too long for me in these areas. At a size 12 - 14 i think i look quite podgy.
I'd love to be long legged like lady hibiscus with huge norks [:D]

fat and big boned are to entirely different things. I am unfortunately both at the moment, but hopefully I will be able to go back to being athletic - working on losing 100 lbs this year.

Big boned though, that will never change and I don;t really want it to - I like having broad shoulders. I want to look like Geena David when I grow up ;).

BTW, I just KNEW someone was going to eventually post the lyrics to that song....love it!

I dont have big bones, my wrists are tiny (although Ive always cried because I dont have the trim ankles that are supposedly one of those major turn ons to guys...shrugs)....but Im definantly overweight...Im a size 10, but my upperarms, thighs, and belly have never recovered from the last two pregnancies.....unfortunantly I dont have all those nice curves that hide the fact thats its really just...well...fat....

It means if you're 5 foot tall you shouldn't weigh say 300 pounds, because for your height 300 is considered morbidly obese by medical standards. So any one who's 5 foot should weigh what's medically apropriate for them or pretty close. Me I'm supposed to be 130  to 140, it's what weight charts all say. However I am a few pounds from 300, so I am not hwp.
