I hear ya sistah!! I take the path dictated by my Soul, and adopt the line here on these boards. MzMia I'm offering to join you in a New Year's resolution, okay? What do you say? I'm offering to throw off my crutch and past (the TS label) and being me just be me 'stella' and not get offended when someone points it out to me. Would you care to do the same and join me and release yourself from your history, but yet remain proud of it? Do you need the WOC label? Can you be proud of who you are without allowing people to use it as a weapon against you? I really like your posts MzMia, I respect you, but I see you as a woman, a person, and even if you were standing in front of me, it would be the same. You ain't no different to me, we are all one race, the human race, and so what does it matter that you got a much better suntan than me? Does that change your value to me as a person? A woman? I think not. It just means you got a different past, a different ancestry, a different family and culture. Just like everyone else. I read what you wrote in the OP, and this is my response. You please feel free to undertake the High Road, me too, as others, but you and I may fail along the way - so what? Isn't life all about making mistakes and learning? And so what if others don't wish to, why not just shrug and let them just be themselves? It's their life, they're following their Souls just as we are, making their own mistakes and learning, and who are we to judge at the end of the day?
