I must apologize. I unintentionally stated:

"That doesn't excuse the lack of integrity shown by the fabrication of libelous quotations and their malicious and defamatory attribution."

When I meant to say was:

"That doesn't excuse the lack of integrity shown by the fabrication of defamatory quotations and their malicious and libelous attribution."

Thank you for your attention.

( And *that* should answer the OP's question.... )

I'm a tad confused as to how you feel about "taking the high road" with regards to morality; I'm interepting the previous reply contradictory.  Still, perhaps not the main point here.

If you addressed it, why still upet?  (No accusation, by the way.  If you feel a way, that's fine.  I'm simply curious.)

Great answer!
I often wonder if I just plain go fucking off on here, if I will be put in time out and moderation.

Those thoughts steer me in the direction of the high road.

Again, I realize we all have different levels of reading comprehension skills.
I made a statemement, than asked several questions.
Did you read my OP?

I realize taking the "high road" is not for many.
No harm no foul for not wanting to take it, either.
We can often tell who takes it, and who does not take it.

Excuse me, then, if I was being confusing.  Allow me to explain.

At first, I said you should just address it.  The manner in which you've written this post, let alone its existence, grants credit to the conjecture that you likely haven't dealt with the issue in the previous post adequately.  I'd ask you to understand that I did not imply that you hadn't dealt with it at all.

The moral superiority of the instance of "the high road", in your contextual usage, is a point I ceded out of disinterest.  You see, my point was that it is not inniately superior to pass up a minor conflict for the sake of it being minor conflict; this only happens to be a general circumstance the associated collateral damage tends to be outweighing the actual gain of the conflict; however, the point stands that the minor conflict is not morally distasteful.  However, I can see how you might feel this way if you resort to approximating the conflict with the common collateral.

Alright.  Up until this point in the post, I'm trying to help you see the misunderstandings, partially out of recognizing that you're not going to answer my question in any manner approaching honesty until I've disillusioned you from this egostical idea that my words have been chosen out of a lack of understanding yours.

Now, fast forwarding up to now..

You're obviously still stressed over the exchange you had with this other entity over what I can only imagine to be something you perceived as racist and/or sexist and/or discriminatory against older individuals.

Now, my question..

Why are you still upset?

I will answer this question for the last time.
I am not upset over it, actually I had forgotten about it and was enjoying the
topic of the high road.

If you want to argue, you will have to move on along.
So shoo fly.
I am enjoying the topic of the high road.
I will not engage in negative energy.
Have a wonderful evening young man.

You're still upset; it shows.  You're even taking my curiosity as aggression and acting condescending as a defensive mechanism.

In any case, I can't offer my condolences at this point without it striking one as insulting itself.  Simply, when you care to answer, it may be worthwhile.

I often see your "curiosity" in action.
You can call it curiosity if it makes you feel better.
I would call it something else, but then I am taking the high road tonight.

So again, have a wonderful evening young man.

Well yeah, MzMia.  Going fucking off will generally get you unwanted attention.  You probably don't want to do that.  The lower roads tend to be slick and muddy.  Much easier to lose control down there.  But losing control, and running at the edge of it are very different thrings.

Sadly.  Still, it's past 1 AM, and I've been crunching differential equations all day.  Observing psycology first hand becomes more interesting at some point.

I can see the thread where you indicate you are offended. (doesn't take a brain surgeon to search your posts), however, other than one poster indicating he may consider superificial qualities where he doesn't name any paticular one, I can't honestly see where you would get offended.  In fact, it's much better than the usual thread of that type, 90 percent of the people there said they look at the person.  I'm not arguing just curious because you started another thread and mentioned how offended you were.

I don't think there's alot of merit in merely playing nice for the sake of playing nice on a forum when the purpose of the forum is to express your opinion.  I agree there are ways to do it tactfully and I'm not always the best at that depending upon the topic, but then again, people sometimes read things into words that don't exist or weren't intended as well.  If the "high road" is popularity and niceness to the point of stiffling your opinion I'd really not enjoy a forum where alot of people did that.

I often wonder what it takes to get on moderation?
Is it a matter of complaints or is it what you say?
I see many here that say things and they are never moderated, and others end up going

the way of DG.
Not sure where the line is drawn, or how or when you cross it.
I guess the powers that be here let you know.

I hear ya sistah!!

I take the path dictated by my Soul, and adopt the line here on these boards.

MzMia I'm offering to join you in a New Year's resolution, okay? What do you say?

I'm offering to throw off my crutch and past (the TS label) and being me just be me 'stella' and not get offended when someone points it out to me.

Would you care to do the same and join me and release yourself from your history, but yet remain proud of it?

Do you need the WOC label? Can you be proud of who you are without allowing people to use it as a weapon against you? I really like your posts MzMia, I respect you, but I see you as a woman, a person, and even if you were standing in front of me, it would be the same. You ain't no different to me, we are all one race, the human race, and so what does it matter that you got a much better suntan than me? Does that change your value to me as a person? A woman? I think not. It just means you got a different past, a different ancestry, a different family and culture. Just like everyone else.

I read what you wrote in the OP, and this is my response. You please feel free to undertake the High Road, me too, as others, but you and I may fail along the way - so what? Isn't life all about making mistakes and learning? And so what if others don't wish to, why not just shrug and let them just be themselves? It's their life, they're following their Souls just as we are, making their own mistakes and learning, and who are we to judge at the end of the day?
