Honestly, I could care less what anyone thinks about me when I am dead. I would hope that my parents would not be around when I die and they are all I worry about anyway.

I care much more about who is going to get all my great jewelry and handbags that I obsessively collected over the years, I am sure some women in the family will be fighting about that too much to care about my toys.

*laughs*  the bit about the jewelry....mama has a silly little ring i love.  i tease her about it every time i'm at her house.

she and my daughter have conspired, and the daughter is going to get it.  LOL!

i have a written living will (sealed, signed and witnessed) explaining my wishes for medical care and time of death.  however now that i'm getting married, i'm going to include an addendum in which my SO handles memorial arrangements and my ashes.  Daddy's collar i  plan to have buried in a small gravesite.

as far as explaining my kink to my family IF they should discover my little dirty secrets - why should i? they don't know now and probably won't know after i'm gone.

Now THIS I can relate to! Mah jewelry collection is a sight to behold. The will that governs who gets what, of all my personal possessions, will be an ever changing document.

I have photos on my computer that I have thought should perhaps be backed up and deleted... I do not think my family would appreciate seeing me tied to the bed, blindfolded and cuffed. I do want them to be able to go through my computer if something happened to me, save the information that is there because I write a great deal, and maybe they may want to keep what I have written.

As far as toys, I do not care if they the cuffs he has me wear every night, or my other personal toys, get discovered. I do not have much here.. he has most of it at his place.

He has a locked cabinet, if I was close enough to where he lived I am sure he would want me to get rid of the stuff, since most of it can only be used for me, it is dedicated to me. I have keys to his place, perhaps he may want me to have a key to that cabinet once I am living Down South.

I couldn't agree more.  I do not worry about dieing, for if I do, then I will never truely live.  W/we do A/all have a terminal illness.... it is called life.  Not O/one of U/us will escape the end.

I should like to think it would be rather unexpected, somehow; were I to unexpectedly die. Am I the only one?

Wistfully,
Ron

My brother already knows about my kink, and has known since the beginning. The likelihood of my parents outliving me is very small, but on the off chance they did... my brother would take care of all the bits Mom and Dad didnt need to see. Id be far more concerned about how Angel and Fox would get along without me than my biological family.
In my family at least, a note on a box saying they didnt need to look is the only surefire way to make sure they opened a box. My relatives, immediate and otehrwise are a strange mix of suspicious and greedy to the point where theyd be sure I was trying to get something past them that they were entitled to even after I was gone. It would serve them right to open my toy drawer and find things that would shock them. Id leave instructions and illustrations, amybe some pictures for use if I knew who would be opening the drawer.

The OP is asuming, I suppose, that both partners are killed at the same tragic time. Obviously, if not, then the remaining partner can take care of things and who sees what doesnt matter.

So many people have responded that they don't care what is thought of them since after all, they will be dead. I prefer to think of this subject in terms of those who survive me. I would want to ease their minds, not leave them with questions or with a massive mindblow. As such, I would want some provisions in place to protect the secrets that I did not share from those I did not share them with. I need to call my lawyer tomorrow.

I would not care at all about it.  That would proove that my grandmother and mother outlived me, and got the money.
For me, going to the other side is my reward.  If I get there, I finally did something right.

If you don't mind my asking, what do you mean by "the other side?" I don't mean to invite discourse on a religious topic, I simply yearn to understand your post.

"Sorry to put out a morbid question, but what if you died unexpectedly, meaning a car crash or some other tragedy? Have any of you made arrangements to explain your kink to the people who would take care of disposing of or distributing your kinky possessions? "

i may be strange, but i, personally, don't care what other people might think.  First off, its my own personal live with the Person i choose to share it with.  Secondly, i'll be dead and likly won't know the difference if they knew.

Just because one makes plans for their demise does not mean that they are focused on dying. Many people cannot face the fact they will die so they put off making plans for what happens when they do.

Some of us would leave behind people that depend on us, so we plan for "what if", and in the big scheme of what happens when we die and how that impacts our loved ones, I suppose a few toys and pics do not matter

Truth of the matter is, if there was the van going back and forth on my road, I would be shitting my pants and internally melting........it would pull in the driveway, and out would pop Eddie and up to the door, all nattily dressed and shit, I would die inwardly, wait for the knock, fling the door open and he would say' Say, do you know that time your next door neighbor is going to be home?'

That's Entertainment.

You know. I would be deeply injured if I had just died and my parents even gave a shit about my sex life.
