Bonfire methinks. I got my ass out of academia 2 months ago and haven't disposed of the evidence yet. Need to do something nice and spiritual to send it off. Confession: now going for a medical degree instead. I just can't escape being a professional student 'till I'm 30. Bring on the pain!

Thanks TammyJo and Uniform, you're right. Probably why I've not thrown this stuff away yet! Though I do doubt I'll ever need articles on things like "the development of the marsupial retina" ever again, guess the data and such stays. sigh Well, there goes one more avenue for making space around here! Though I do like your last statement, TammyJo... "Organizing all my stuff will be one of the new jobs for the next slave trainee I get in the future. A good test of how useful he/she can be." That is definitely a good idea. Now to find the slave to do it..... Thanks again for the replies.

At least for the stuff I can dispose of. I think I remember burning my Organic Chem book in effigy in college...hmmm. So, ya got out of academics eh? Well, at least now you're on track for a similarly masochistic course of studies, but one with a better earning potential. Power to ya!
