i don't see how a pic being displayed instead of one's name WITHIN the CM site can cause "undesirable attention" when a person has one available on their profile page...
It's because now my pic shows up everywhere instead of just my profile. Unless my profile loaded with the main page, that is. It invites more correspondence from trolls, who would not be here at all if there even a small amount to pay each month to belong. But i digress.
i joined a really long time ago. Back then, your pic showed up on your profile and that was it. You could not even use it as an avatar. i've made some adjustments by using a Halloween photo, because in real life i wear bangs and glasses and the only time i get recognized in public is at the Fetish Flea or Stop and Shop. The photo i originally wanted to use (and was not allowed to) was the one with the crop under my chin. People can show just their ass, but i was not allowed to use that photo as a primary. If that photo was allowed, i would care a whole lot less about these changes because the crop under my chin says i'm a submissive for me.
No offense truly, but especially since you said halloween costume, that looks like a wand to some (like me), especially with the star on the end. I would have never thought it a crop. That doesnt negate your point, but that would still confuse some,.

The crop is in the shape of a star. i have one with a heart, and one with a Devil's pitchfork, along with a riding one from Harrod's of London. i took most of those photos on Halloween 2006 for a certain Dom at the time. [:)] i am sure You have seen the paddles that imprint SLUT on one's ass, they were bought in a similar vein.
The crown is from my Halloween costume for the Goddess Kwan Yin. It is a modified child's Snow White crown with a Buddha in the center (because the Goddess Kwan Yin has a Buddha in her crown) and a piece of a vintage costume earring to create the point at the top center and i sometimes like to wear just it on Halloween. It's my special day.
Anyways, like i say, i am just waiting to become Someone's princess. The Doms seeking one, who contact me, "get it".
