Hey, Owner59, here's a scenario for you ...

Martians from Uranus (immigrations a problem at thar, too, ya know. [:D] ) have taken 26 virgin princesses from Pellucidar hostage, and plan on sacrificing them to Issus, the goddess of Barsoom at the monthly games.

Your mother, sister, and twin female sibling are all captured by mistake (as they aren't princesses, but were simply innocent tourists who masqueraded as handmaidens but confused for royalty ... long story ....)

Now, the religion of the Therns allows for the release of up to four unrelated captives, if one man is willing to spend a year with his tongue stuck to a frozen pole of feces that has been built in the Caverns under the North Pole for this very purpose.

Here is the question: Would you allow American Express to launder your shorts?

You must answer this question within 1 minute of reading this post, and you must answer it in three paragraphs of no more than 26 words each, and one additional paragraph of 250 words.

You have 10 minutes.

Go.

BBZZZZZZ!!

Wrong answer! You fail!

You loose all posting credibility on any political question!

From now on, the correct response for anyone to post in reply to one of your asinine political posts is:

"John Carter".

FHKY,

Why didn't you answer the two outstanding "Old Business" questions, so that I can respond to your "New Business" questions over at the old thread?

"Has the Surge been successful in achieving the goals set prior to its execution?"

and

"If you were wrong then, why should anyone give credibility to what you say now?"

Before questioning anyone's credibility you should establish your own.

Did you check with the tinfoil hat brigade,on that one? They are the judges and arbiters, on such matters, after all.

Maybe "I can`t recall" would work.Or Alberto`s funniest phrase,"I can`t recall,recalling".That would work even better.lol

Hey smart guy......If you can hash out and explain what ,"I can`t recall, recalling" means, you win all the stuffed toys,on the middle shelf.

You have ten minutes. Go.

Geez, you mean these two questions:

1. Post 121

quote:

ORIGINAL: FirmhandKY

Hmmm, please ... take your time, and do some searching on the forums ... tell me where I was "assessing the surge BEFORE it happened"?

and

2. Post 124:

ORIGINAL: farglebargle

FHKY fucked up analyzing the Surge,

Again ... where?

oh ... that's right ... I forgot ... Mod11 died, and you are now "Forum God", and get to set the terms of all discussions.

Well, not sure I'm all that "religious" there, fargie. Maybe you'll have to try different techniques, other than constant repetition and bullying?

My questions, which you have evaded for so long, appear in the thread FOUR PAGES before the questions you've ONLY recently asked.

When you've answered the questions awaiting reply, we can address your questions IN THE ORDER THEY WERE ASKED.

IT IS YOUR TURN TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS. WHEN DONE, WE CAN MOVE FORWARD TO YOUR ***NEW*** INQIURIES.

"Has the Surge been successful in achieving the goals set prior to its execution?"

and

"If you were wrong then, why should anyone give credibility to what you say now?"

Or, by your evasion, are we to understand that you are just unable to face the cold, hard facts?

The funny thing, is he spent FOUR PAGES evading a simple question by Sinergy, and when I *finally* beat the answer out of him, it was time to move onto the NEXT QUESTION in the thread, which are the two here.

Now, we've covered a lot of ground over in the other thread. The first question can ONLY be honestly answered as "NO", given the benchmarks set in US Law which allocated the funds to implement the "Surge" strategy...

The second, of course, is another issue. When someone wrongly concludes that a Strategy is good, why should their future analysis be given any credence, unless they are able to demonstrate to their constituency that they've learned from their error?

Supporter of the "Surge Strategy" with the demonstrable failure of that strategy, must answer the question "Why should anyone bother listening to what you have to say NOW, when you backed the wrong horse before?"
