Status: offline 		My girlfriend thinks that I have gay tendencies but I am not attracted men whatsoever.  She says this because I like anal play and I am flexible enough to go down on myself.  I tell her that this does not mean that I am gay because I would not do these things with another man because I have no interest in being sexual with men.  She seems to think that anyone who knows about this would agree that I must be secretly gay to enjoy these things.  I thought that maybe you could give your opinions to help her understand me more.

Being gay has much more to do with motivation, desire and sexual attraction than it does with specific behaviours. Even IF you were able to do these with men, at best that would make you bi, not gay. Certainly the guys who have enjoyed My strap on weren't gay! Your girlfriend needs to do a bit more reading and research to base her opinions on facts.

Status: offline 		I guess what she thinks is weirdest is that I can suck my own dick and have shown her.  This is not my preferred way of achieving an orgasm, but I like to do it sometimes.  Still she insists that this means that I have 'gay tendencies'.  I try to tell her that I would agree if I was doing something sexual with another man, but that is not what I am interested in.  I have not interest in going down on another man.  Thank you for your comments thus far but she seems to be stuck in her frame of mind.

What you've stated here doesn't equal gay. Or even bisexual. Maybe you should point her in the direction of a dictionary and some common sense? If self pleasure made people gay we'd all die off hastily.

Good for you that you can reach that far, I know plenty of men who'd love to do that. Good for you to enjoy anal penetration--- some men are too homophobic to even try that out, and yet there are lots of nerves down there. Men AND women can both enjoy anal sex perfectly healthily.

If I were you I'd seriously reconsider a long term relationship with someone who seems to be exposing so many illogical narrowminded preconcived ideas. But give her some information and a chance to educate herself. Just don't let her lack of rational thinking start to make you question what you know to be true.

And hey if it turns out you are gay or bisexual... I, and millions of other people don't see anything wrong with that in the slightest. A support group for coming out could help with the transition.

And if you're not gay and stay with her maybe you could teach her how to penetrate a person and she could really get into it. You never know! She might just be saying "gay" because she feels insecure or like she doesn't live up to her percieved ideas about you wanting a penis. If you help integrate her into the activity maybe that will be the best boon to show her you ARE attracted to females and HER in specific and you merely like anal sex and self stimulation as well.
