I enjoy Protocols a great deal. But then again I have a fetish for symbolism. I love it when a sub calls me "Sir" or "Master" or "Lord". I love it when she/he asks me for permission to speak, sit, whatever. and I dearly love to see my sub kissing the tool that is about to be used on him/her, or has just been used. To me Protocols constitute at least 50% of the fun.

i definitely understand you here, all of D/s is in the mind anyhow. rules can be very erotic, esp. for a masochist. any rule could be fun. sharpening pencils with a spoon would be worthwhile. rules for behavior around your owner seem almost obviously important

No. I don't and my Daddy dom isn't to big on them either. I wouldn't have it any other way, since if they were important to him and not me well then we wouldn't be as compatible as we are.

I do enjoy protocols. I had to train my boy not to yell from another room when he wanted my attention. That is my biggest protocol, if you want something from me, then come to me and ask me, don't holler from another room. It is just plain rude. I now insist that he call me Mommy as part of my re-training of him. He is embarrassed and humiliated to use the term, but a little humility is what he needs right now.

Usually those moments come after 20+ hours of no sleep, while Im at work eating chocolate elf cookies like they are gonna quit sellin em, all so I can stay awake, but at least I have em :P

We are really low protocol but.... there are a few things that we do regularly that i love.

i love washing his back every morning. As soon as i hear the shower start up i drop whatever i am doing and bounce up the stairs and sit on the floor until he is ready for me to wash.

i love making his chocolate milk everynight and feel cheated if he makes it himself. Even if i have already dosed off i will still wake up and go down to make his chocolate milk when asked , get his cookie and bring a small bowl so that one of our kitties can have his chocolate milk at the same time. (very little and very little choco..but he MUST have it too)

Those are two of the most regular little things that we do.

A Dom that I've been in contact with for months through email, chat and phone recently came to visit me in Korea.  He told me not to shave anything... Well, I'm a shave every day girl, and so this was particularly difficult for me.  But every morning in the shower I looked down and saw that I was preparing myself for him.  When he finally arrived, he waxed me and I was so glad for that month of no shaving - it was like an incredible daily gift.  And it jad prepared me emotionally for being with him, and giving him my body if I chose when we met.
