Thank you so much for posting this question.
In a recent conversation with my Dom, he shared with me that I was to be collared. Being such a "newbie", and wanting deeply to please him, I simply answered "Yes Sir". It wasn't until a few days later that I began to internalize the implicaiton of being collared.
Here I was, faced with questions and concern. "How exactly will this play out?" " Will he consider my work and social life in the selection process of this collar?" "Will I be required to wear this collar all the time, without fail?" "Will I have any input into the selection process? " "What if I HATE the collar he chooses?"
So with all of these unanswered questions, (which I also intended on asking him as well) I began to search the forumns here on CM to see what the general commuities take on it was.
For the most part, I am seeing that we all have our own way of figuring things out for ourselves. Which I LOVE! We make the rules and that lends a certain amount of intrinsic value for those of us who are hard core control freaks in our business life, and Sub's to our Master!
