Just an FYI:   If you read up on the usual patterns of human development, you will find it a NORMAL development for 2-3 year olds to fondle their genitals.  After all, they have just discovered them!!  It is why many children of this age run around naked and you can't keep their clothes on them.  And, yes, I believe it is the "prudish" social conditioning that ends up suppressing these curiosities until puberty, and the hormones that go with it, supercede some of this conditioning.  Unfortunately, sometimes the social conditioning is so strong, these sexual urges are suppressed way into adulthood.  Until another "usual" stage of human development comes into play around the 30's.  The "introspective" stage.  I believe this is when many come into the lifestyle.  Somewhere in their 30s.  Not ALL mind you.  But you will find a large percentage do.

Status: offline 		i remember being in elementary school, and organizing the neighborhood children to play 'Aztec Sacrifice' in the park. Read about it in my children's encyclopedia.

my memory of it is not very clear.. not sure what grade i was in.

who knew i would turn out to be a submissive...

Well, I could get all psychological about it, because my childhood wasn't exactly peachy, but honestly I think I was just fascinated. I don't remember doing much self mutilation stuff when I was upset, just when I was bored or curious.

Status: offline 		I caught on a lot slower than some of those here on the forum. I think I've always been attracted dominant guys, it just took me forever to figure it out. I've known about sex since I was 5 or so, I had an older friend who always told me about the things she learned, but BDSM never clicked for me until puberty. But the first time I read about a D/s relationship, I must have been twelve or so, I knew it was for me.

Actually, looking at my childhood, mostly it seems that I would have come out as a Domme and not the sub I am. I was a terribly manipulative child. I distinctly remember in third grade convincing a boy to show me his jiggly bits on the playground. But I do remember my first vaguely BDSM experience. I was at a boy down the street's house, Sam, and he locked me in a closet with him. Nothing happened, but I remember it feeling incredibly sexy to be locked in a small room at the mercy of an older boy.

Status: offline 		I was going to comment on how young everyone seemed to have started... until I really started thinking back to my first inklings of submission.

I remember being in my bed at the first house I lived in. We moved half way through the second grade, so it was at some point before then. I had a small blanket I would wrap around myself like a diaper and imagine someone (I don't know who now) was forcing me to wear it despite my begging for it to be removed. It was so deliciously embarrassing for me at the time. Though I'm not into diapers now, I do love chastity.

LOL...yes, I didn't think there would be any great finds if an arheological dig were to occur.
I was just more curious if you were actually "acting out" the sacrifice of life, or having the victim perform some other sacrifice that might have been a bit more "doable."

Status: offline 		I was watching "We Love the 80s" or some show like that. (Scary how it's now considered retro) And I realized that most of my fetishes were most likely birthed by watching MTV.

I distinctly remember the leather clad women tantalizing and torturing the prisoner in the "Twilight Zone" video by Golden Earring and getting "warm fuzzies". This was before I was even old enough to know what warm fuzzies were. "Hurt So Good" by John Cougar, made me go "Hmm??? I must ponder this supossed dychotomy." Or something along those lines.

BTW - Does anyone else think "Father Figure" by George Michael is a Daddy Dom song? Funny thing, I hadn't thought of that song in years, and it just happened to be playing on the radio as I was driving to meet the man who is now my master.
