I am so glad to hear that Badsir, I have had approximately 14 pages of letters since I joined and I think it is a 70/30 split of men that actually read mine. They want poly, they want extreme sadism, they want slavery, on and on, and they all tell me with "them" I would like it. I may be new to the lifestyle, but I am certainly not new to the world of men.

Or they open with : You filthy whore, or some such other sentiment. Or demand to be called Master. My Master, when I find him, can say that. Not every dom out there. So, rambling done, no I do not think most men read profiles and for the ones that do, thank you and some of those responses have been amazing, one in particular. Hoping......

Do you think my journal is negative, or my profile in general? I feel like I read alot of negativity in girls' profiles, why can't I have some? Haha! But perhaps you're right. Maybe I should express myself in a different way. Still, I find my search very frustrating.

i perv profiles all the time, and actually do take the time to read what (if anything) is written there. Not all will, and usually you can tell those who do by what they say when (and if) they actually email you. Happens on any site, Cm is no exception.

KaineD, just checked out your profile. Not bad. But maybe put a pic up. You don't have to show your face, (like it could be partially in shadow. that can look menacing;)

OP, I think a pic that has you looking directlly into the camera would be good. Your current pic kinda reminds me of the Captain Morgan commercials. lol.

I read profiles. From some you can get a real feel for the person themselves.
I have to agree with the others KaineD you do come over as a negative person.
However I have empathy with that.
I've been so insulted at times because I'm honest about BDSM being my sexuality.
I've never thought of CM as a sex site.
It's a site for people who are interested in BDSM which is far more far reaching than just sex. or even just kinky sex.
However it is very easy to get a stereotypical view especially as so few people seem to post. People seem to put up a profile and then either get few or no replies because of their geographical location or are really hounded by people giving advice in not very nice terms.Ok some ask for it I know but we have to have patience. People get themselves in all kinds of emotional messes or can't find anyone to even talk to about their needs.
It seems everyone here thinks we are all sadists or masochists. I doubt that very much.
However we sometimes don't know what we need/like until we stumble over it.
A bit of advice KaineD (I've put it at the bottom to see if you read this far lol)
I would widen your search. Even people with little money can travel and relocate if they really want to.

your profile doesn't say anything about looking for "girls" over 30...it says you are looking for mature women...it is possible to be a mature woman and be under 30...though rare we are...

for simple folk like the mrs and i ...its a lot more fun reading a profile then writing one ...were still working on our in the hopes someday somewhere someone may read it ...lol dreamers maybe ...but reading profiles is a great way to pass time in the winter ..so in conclusion yes we read profiles ..thank you for your time

Humph... A picture or a witty comment on the boards will get me reading a profile. And, if I see someting interesting in the profile, I'll shoot off a message.

It is Aynne, thanks, and I am assuming you are saying without the picture I would not not get any replies? Ah, but the mind is as intriguing and enchanting as the physical isn't it? For the non shallow types at least. And to have both, lethal combination. ; )
