i can understand, somewhat, not reading one, but doesn't a picture give one the idea "i'm a male?"

oh, I know what you mean!!!

I don't think many people bother to read what's written. Well at least, those who try to make contact don't seem too for the most part.

What really makes Me laugh is when I get a message from someone who read My intro or journal and got all offended and writes Me a rude note. I mean, man, what a waist of time!

Personally, I would not think of sending an email to someone without going through the introduction and journal first.

I am an avid profile reader.... but rarely really contact someone unless something in the profile strokes me and I want to make a comment on it...or at times lend support .... heh I have a profile hall of shame through out my journal too

Yes, I do try to but oftentimes there is little to be read. It always amazes me when I get letters in my email enquiring if I am willing to relocate to them and their profiles is basically a blank slate. Don't they think they might have better results of they let the person know who is reading their profile what they are about?

This seems to be a common experience. When I set up my first BDSM profile years ago I got numerous emails from gay males, despite it stating quite clearly that I was straight.

Most seem to be unable to read profiles. I have stated several times that I am not a switch, that I am a slave only and yet I still have other submissives requesting that I dominate them. I finally just removed it from my profile because it obviously does no good.
