ORIGINAL: joanus quote:
I'm not down on Handicaped people, just those who use it as and excuse. Life is not fair, and it loves to kick you when your down. Oh sheesh. I have yet to see anyone on this thread use their handicap as an excuse for anything. No wonder your posts need to be moderated first before they are published. You type the stupidest things. quote:
And BTW she did say that she couldn't walk up and down stairs because of her blindness: Me: But I have no choice but to live on the bottom floor, since I can't see! So I am left with no option but to rent a bottom level floor and I am being forced to pay higher rent. Yes, and that is also the reason that *I* did not mention my other health problems, because I did not want anyone to mistake those for the reason why I needed a bottom floor apt. quote:
Trust me pal, Im not stupid. Well now, that is debatable, PAL. quote:
I live in a state full of losers you have multiple problems that keep them from being about to work, but not stop them from traveling to over 500miles to sit in the heat and watch NASCAR all day. Sheesh, which explains YOU. Now I understand. Say no more. As far as working, I have worked my entire life PAL, and I am proud of the things that I have accomplished in my life. I started working when I was 12 years old in a cafe' owned by a friend of my mothers. I did not stop working til I lost my sight PAL, so don't give me that shit of how I use my blindness as a way to get out of work. I have worked longer than you have been alive, you lilttle shit. quote:
Let me give you a few examples of just how far much you can overcome with only a little determination. You know what? I don't need your examples of how much anyone can overcome with only a little determination. I can read on this very thread how much these people have overcome their handicaps to become hard working individuals who have not let their physical limitations over rule them. quote:
A friend of mine was in a car crash, and because he was not wearing a seat belt(they put those in cars for a reason) he was thrown out the window. His spine was broken and one of his vertabrey was completely shattered. He was lucky to be alive, and acording to the doctors he wouldn't walk ever again. One year later he was the third best weight lifter in our school. Last May I was shot in the chest 9 times and boint blank range with a 9mm. I spent a week in ICU and another three months in the hospital. That would have killed a normal man, and learning to walk again was no cake walk either. Wait..Let me get something out for you...... [sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif][sm=boohoo.gif] I hope these are enough. You seem to be sitting pretty on your pity pot. quote:
There are thosands of peolpe in this world that have over come things much worse that blindness. The Human being is remarkable animal it can survive, over come and adapt to any thing. You got that right. Amazing how far we have come in modern medicine. One thing though.. You can't fix stupid. quote:
"Its not your body that is weak, its your mind." ~Grandfahter Sune I am so glad you recognize this about yourself. MoGa Edited for typos and clarification
