ther is a classic example of why a forum for newbies would be both a terrible and a great idea over in "Ask a Submissive" right now

Now deleted because the OP was an insecure manchild.

Damn it... what'd I miss?

so forth and so on....but really...asking for a forum where you can ask the same "newbie" questions over and over again, has already been asked and denied...but i can't use the search feature as well as LA, so i can't find it...

dear chelle: it's only taken me 7 months to learn how to add a signature.....

TO the OP:  I am not disagreeing with you and am only reading page one, so this may have been said.  You have a valid point about some of us old timers getting our ire up at times, but, if you actually look at the topics we get irked about, most of them are not subjects from 2005, etc.  They are subjects that have been discussed recently and usually are the flame inciting ones.  When someone does give links, it is not always to keep you from asking the question, or to make you feel dumb, but realizing you are new, MAY provide links so you do have additional opinions, experience etc, and alot of times those threads are chock full of posts of people that are currently here. Ask questions, and a lot of them.  Let me give you a cheat sheet of the ones that will, unfortunately make the oldtimers eyes roll (this list cannot have all subject matter, but does have quite a bit, smiles.)

Prodommes.....are they real, fake, a rip off, a needed service, etc......

Fat threads....are women sub/domme because they are fat, thin, have no self esteem, too much self esteem etc

Prodommes,,,,are more of them fat, lol(ok teasing on that one...)

What is a sub versus a slave....

He said he loved me, we talked for 3 times on the internet, he collared me, then he poofed, what should I do???

Hope that helps, smiles.

edited to add::: what the fuck is that vanilla cone under my nick?  I am NOT vanilla,,,,how do I get that off of there?

Don't worry. i've started some negative threads before, and have confused quite a few people. But personally i enjoy asking questions on here because pretty much all are experienced and know from their mistakes and happiness that i can more or less find my answer. Now i'm not saying that it's a bad idea, but i prefer on here more so.

As HerLord, my love has conceded this was a terrible post. She has now requested that it be lain to rest as one of her bad attempts to please me. However, having it here, and letting it be seen by all the other newbies, will allay at least this question from being reposted, provided other newbies have the same respect she did and take the time to read many of the forums threads before posting their "First." Also, there have been some great Ideas that have come from this thread. One in prticular I would like to make note of is the FAQ's page. I should approve of this being submitted to tech for advisement.

In life we all go through things as individuals and as team mates and as friends. Some lessons are learned together while some alone, but then there are those that are learned over and over. We have found many things here, there, and elsewhere that now help us smile.
