Status: offline 		It seems to me that within about 2-4 weeks of talking that I should know their first name.  It isn't that big of a problem to use their screen name but at a certain point, you either have to move from that into a name-basis situation or walk away.

Why not invent a name?

I'm Stella but you can call me by any other herb, Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Pepperoni, Chives..

Status: offline 		for a long time my scene name was my legal name... my first name and my middle name.. Then I tried out for American Idol and realized that my pic was all over the internet with my ass in the air and I thought... hmmm... maybe my legal name isn't a good thing to have out there.  So my Sir gave me my new nickname.. TDSlittlehelper.  So maybe the person is famous.. if they said oh yeah, my name is Madonna, or Jay Lo or I am Pink.. you would blow their cover.
