Word- as in i agree.
this person is wayyyyy to self centered and needs to
refocus. at the rate shes going (if any of this is true at all)
every body is going to loose but there will be only one person to blame.
ive seen it happen right here on my perfectly round little world.

I love these posts!.It is nicely divided between a penthouse " I am have the kind of sex you WISH you were having" kinda of letter and the " poor me look what I have done"..lol

If it is real, I can' believe someone would come here for advise. If it is fake, thanks for the laughs.
As far as any real advice? turn off the computer and walk away!

Well - the first few posts seemed to be quite honest, sincere & helpfull. I really should have know better. After reading some hard replys and talking to a long time friend I'm going to tell my "other" I'm sorry. It's been fun and real but I have to move on. Other things are more important as were posted here. I'll try on the advise of those here and my friend to be as pleading & understanding as possible. As far as my husband - I'll do as one here said. say nothing unless he finds out. Thanks everyone Chrisl

That sounds like a good start. However, I'd suggest thinking about it like quitting smoking. It's very difficult without family support and professional help. Please consider seeing a therapist. "Sexual addiction" is a diagnosable reality, and can be treated. It doesn't mean you're "weak" or "bad." If you are doing something you "don't want to do" -- like smoking, or binging and purging -- it takes a lot of effort to retrain yourself.

Don't underestimate how strong those urges can be. If you fall back into this you will feel even worse.

On the off chance this is for real. Go visit your lawyer. Explain you've been having an affair and the other man is threatening to reveal this if you leave him. Have the lawyer send him a nice letter filled with legaleze about the penalties for blackmail, including civil and criminal.

Go get some therapy to discover why you can only be turned on if it's illicit sex. You aren't the first or the last, they will have heard it before.

After working on your own issues first, then add in marital issues to improve marriage.

First lawyer
Then therapy
Then marriage counseling
In that order.
