The article states that the reporter "went to the gym on a Monday", and shows a photograph of the gym entrance.  It does not state if the reporter was inside, outside or both.

You're right, it doesn't. So therefore to *assume* that the reporter was *inside* is a bit premature, don't you think? I notice it also doesn't say if it was a male or female reporter either.

And your suppositions about what I might say are of your own imagination.

Cute, though I didn't make a supposition, I asked a question, hence the words "are you" at the beginning.

Okay....was there a point to just re-posting what I'd already said or did you want to add something else?

Many people, both females and males, would not want to work out in front of a group of reporters or have cameras and microphones shoved in their faces when they want to go exercise and work up a good sweat.

Starts small and then soon there will be no response zones, where the police must ask permission to enter the predominanately Muslim area if they are called. Why are governments, colleges, etc. bending over to kiss the ass of just one religion?

Good question. I was in the military....and I'm pretty sure there are a few muslims among the 5 branches of service. I never heard of them doing their physical training separately. Everyone is on the track at the same time, everyone's out on the PT field at the same time. I don't recall ever seeing a problem with it. If the women don't want to wear their head covering while they work out, I'd wager that's a problem they have to take up with their faith. If they are such devote followers of their faith, then they wear the covering and shut up about it. As a matter of fact, in my (admittedly limited) knowledge of the source faith, I vaguely recall something about how they must cover outside of the home regardless. I don't recall the faith making allowances for a gym, whether males are around or not.

At some point, one hopes common sense would prevail. Sadly, it's increasingly less 'common.'

I love cats. When I get my own house again, I plan to have at least one or two...and a dog. I'll get 'em both as lil puppies and kittens so they can grow up together and be best buddies.
