OK, now THAT was funny. Alright, now let's grow up here people....*chortle*......*snigggger*....whew, got that out of the way....ok. Now to comment on the post- What does beauty mean to me? Obviously what it means to me is based on my perception of the world, so throwing that caveat out there- I find SOME scars to be appealing, why? not sure, but I see an individuality in them.I have a friend with a huge wavy scar across her upper chest from a surgery, and I think it's hot, I ALWAYS think about licking it.......wow I AM a freak, hahahaha. I think though beauty is an inside job as well, I've ran across many people that are good looking physically, and within three minutes of talking to them they have become very ugly because of what's shining through from the inside. Or I should say the lack of things shining through. I have met a lot of plain looking people that over time have become beautiful to me.....because of who they are as a whole. I agree with L. T. on the fact that so many folks are walking around comparing their "insides" to others "outsides", it's not a good way to find self -worth, for sure. And As L.T. said some things ARE beautiful because of the imperfections, my doberman has a tiny, tiny patch of white under her chin and it's fucking adorable. Now to a judge in a dog show it would probably be "unnacceptable" or "imperfect" .......but to me it MAKES her perfect. Mainly I think our own beauty shines through if we are content and confident, I rarely compare my insides to others outsides theses days(I said rarely, at least it's honest).
