You can go on and on in your profile about how discipline is not about sex, when an adult physically disciplines another adult, there is an element of sex to that. Enough of one for a pastor to get sued, at any rate, as FRS mentioned. Status: offline 		For me in this case spanking would occur when discipline was LACKING.  If the person is disciplined, they don't need any physical negative reinforcement in order to behave correctly.

And if they WANT physical reinforcement, not acting appropriately is hardly the way to encourage me to give it.

I’m guessing here but he probably was talking about self-discipline.  Since you don’t seem to have that I can see where you missed his point.

OP, may I suggest a dictionary? Look up the word "discipline" if you really don't know that there are two meanings. If you do know and are funnin' us, use the dictionary to whup yerself upside the head. :D

Why would you assume that by discipline he meant spanking?  Having discipline means being in control of what you say and do.  Getting up every morning at 6 because you have to be on time for work. going to the gym 4 times a week because you want to be  healthy.  Saving money every week, cleaning your house everyday, etc etc.... you can list 1000 things you can have discipline for.  If you need someone to be on top of you all the time by spanking you for everything you do wrong you h ave absolutely no discipline at all.  People shouldn't be punished to do the things they need to do, that's being irresponsible and childish. 

Keep this to fantasy, asking your pastor to spank you would be akin to him asking you to kneel and pray for 5 hours a day to absolve other people for their sins and transgressions.

Status: offline 		Unless you happen to meet your pastor out of his collar at a local munch, I'd say you'd best keep your thoughts about this to yourself. He can sermonize all he wants about needing dicipline, or being on your knees before Jesus, or finding yourself in the sad state of emotional bondage, but unless you get a clear clue from him that he's on the make for a submissive, I'd say you'd better not. Resign yourself to rubbing yourself in the back pews on Sunday.

What the heck is it about us Lutherans that makes us all so damned sexy? Is it in the coffee? Or the green bean casserole (with the Campbells cream of Mushroom soup and the fried onion bits on top)?
