But, even then, I'm seeing some docs that are beginning to disagree with that. Carb cravings affect different people in different ways. You may never get rid of the cravings, but usually, if you stay on a low carb diet for a few months, they'll pass. And, carbs are carbs..... once they go into your body, they turn to sugar.
