Btw, I don't think I'm god at all. In fact, I've found, the older I get, the more aware I am of all that I don't know compared to the little that I do know. You can not make folks respond simply because You sent them a greeting, or expressed a deisre to get to know them. It is what it is, hit or miss. Very possibly the common problem is You, Your profile, or Your timing could just be way off point. Outside of complaining (which we all do) the only thing You can do is alter You and see if the outcome varies at all.

A Tale of Two

I have read through this entire thread this afternoon. Two young Doms. One is angry, wondering why no-one responds to his c-mails. He has been flamed by many here, Ladies and Gentlemen alike. A lot was of his own doing, in that he traded flame for flame. But in the end, he is hurting badly. Yes, he is young, and claims vast experience that some would discount. I do not know of his experience, so will not judge. Some have posted suggestions, but I cannot say whether he has followed through with those.

The other, a little older, also posted on this thread, asking for help, and according to his posts, has recieved that help. He appeared grateful, and thanked the ones who offered help.

My advice to DM. Get help with your anger. An angry dom probably will not have much success, and I pity any sub who you do get when your anger spills out. Yes, life has given you a shit sandwich. You can either be angry at the world your entire life, or you can change your life. Which do you choose? You can either flame back at me (I don't suggest a flame war with a Dragon), or you can sit back and think.

I know why the slightly older dom got such a good response. and if you read through this whole entire bitch fest then you would have realized that I'm not the one who threw the first punch and I'm in no way angry. actually I had a really good day today, completely unaffected by this forum.

If you actually read the responses in this thread, you'd see it was I who brought up Klinger and MASH and Klinger crossdressing to try to get out of the army on a section 8 as a joke, you know them don't you? Jokes? Messing around? Being silly? Take a look around the forum, there's a lot of it about.

You're "trading insults" with people who didn't insult you. Maybe drop the defensive attitude and actually read what people are saying.

The "slightly older" Dom got a better reception than you did because he didn't act like an arrogant and defensive prick. He took on board what many people tried to get across to you. You failed to see the help that was being given in response to your original question, instead taking things the wrong way or getting nasty because you didn't like the responses.

Seriously, you'll find a whole lot of really nice people here who are more than willing to help with a problem, or give a little advice if asked. Just back off with the nastiness and you'll find them.
