Status: offline 		Regarding the links: excellent resource. I think my profile is much better now, thanks to all the responses I've gotten. It's still long, and I'll probably trim it, i just have to think on it.
The point is, that was a good read.

No, I didn't try twice. Most don't even take the time to look at my profile. they always read them, I check for that but they rarely ever respond.

Finding common ground? I'm actually pretty easy to get along with once I start seeing the good in people. Since I posted this I've gotten a lot of critiscism but Ive also seen some nice and honest people come out of the woodwork and give me helpful advice and the last thing I wanna do is undermine that kind of thing for its helpful value and because in todays world its become extremely scarce.

I am quite amazed to hear that you think I'm anything near "cute" and its difficult to tell if thats honest or a well crafted insult.

And if anyone wants to know where I got the chip on my shoulder then I'll be happy to tell them if they are really interested. . It comes from a lifetime of constantly fighting just to have simple things like the right to be heard, the right to make decisions on my own. it comes from never receiving anything from strangers and always getting shit when other people were getting oppurtunities, but most of all it comes from always getting stabbed in the back by the ones who cared for me the most. I'm not ashamed to admit that I have one and it does not in any way make me weak. most people run on faith, when they have a sense of faith they get the feeling that no matter what happens to them evrythings gonna be ok. I don't have that cuz I've always had to fend for myself. So when people give me what I interpret as pure BS, I don't take it. I kindly hand it right back to them so they can dump it somewhere else. faith doesn't do that, anger does.

trust me, Ive figured ouyt the standard equation that it never gets easier. people only make things harder, not easier. As to why this is, well I don't think anyone on here can answer that.

Status: offline 		There is no "standard equation" and with your current attitude, I can pretty much guarantee that things will not get easier for you.  You can spend the rest of your life blaming other people for the situation you find yourself in or you can take responsibility for your own happiness and turn things around.  The longer it takes you to do it, the harder it's going to be so don't waste the best years of your life being needlesly bitter.

Well, it's because of the fundamental jealousy and covetousness of people. They want what you have achieved. The older you get, the more you have achieved. Then when some poor Appalachian kid comes along whose father got killed over in Gulf War I, and who inherited some bizarre genetic affliction from the chemicals that Jimmy Carter sprayed on him, well, no educational grant money for him, right? Look, email me privately and I'll turn you to Stormfront. Cool?

They push the envelope of being disruptive, but don't technically break any rules, so don't get themselved moderated ... but there is a bit of a Potter Stewart quality to it.
 
I think Stephann's advice was pretty good ... just so you know.

I have a judgement focus, I blame myself twice as hard as I blame other people. I hear stuff like that all the time. The positive people who think life is great and everythings in they're control and its so easy to change well unfortunately my problems are obviously different than yours but this isn't a pity party, i hate those.
