HMMM online yellow pages works well as well ,  you do not seem to be in too much of the boonies with 13 dentists in your home town    here is a full service dental/denture  clinic and does oral surgeries that takes all dental plans http://www.yellowpages.com/info-IY233376086/Aspen-Dental/products

the population in 2000 was near 11,000  in the 10 year peroid prior it grew by 66%   so today that population is probably close to 17 to 18,000 based on the growth trends      if you were living in some small town than had a population under 5,000  your complaints may be justified with regards to having no services available to you, and as for your complaining your parents about charging to drive you places  I tend to beleive there may be an extremely valid reason for, namely that you keep manipulating situations  to what  you want,   not necessarily to what is good for you, so your parents are learning not to support the behaviour and actions that tend not to be  always healthy  or necessary  for  you and  also  to avoid a lot of wasted time, energy and money., and your parents method is far more effective than simply saying no and then being forced to defend the no to you.  I am a parent to a manipulater  and with a 150 IQ  I had to learn how to stay on my toes unfortunately family members and other members of society were not as aware  so I was not able to prevent him getting into huge trouble as a result of his I want mentality, you got chased off, shunned on the other forum you were at because people did come to recognise what you were doing, eventually that may likely occur here and you will just drift off to another forum continuing to get help from others to make poor unhealthy choices for yourself, which one day will cost you dearly healthwise which I have no intentions of being a party to

there are no clinics here in my town that take medicaid. I have asked. I have to drive to Bath to see a dentist. As does anyone else in my county.

This is what I have a difficult time with:
I can not conceive that if you were to have a conversation with your folks and said to them.."I really want to get my life together...can you take me to a GED class?" or even "I think I would like to go volunteer at a nursing home 1 day a week...or join a book club..."
...or anything else that would reflect a desire to move forward in your life...that they would say "NO".....
I just am having a really hard time understanding that as a concept.

btw: if you want to have a chance at a good life in the future then you should abolish the notion that you don't have a job or you aren't working...your job should be to get better...your work should be putting a life together for your self.

you obviously don't know my parents. I have to pay my dad $40 a month just to take me to my doctors appointments. And he yells at me every single appointment I have. I already have everyday booked up that he allows me to make appointments...I have 4 appointments in the next week already.

No, doll, you cannot be a transcriptionist or a medical biller.  You don't have it in you.  You need to find something that YOU can be good at.  And by the way, no, your "social worker" doesn't help people with their careers.  The type of social worker you are seeing is most likely a licensed clinical social worker, which means a therapist. You are thinking of someone that helps people find housing, jobs, etc., which means they do social work, but are not a "social worker" (which is a huge debate in the field of licensed social workers).

Cali

why wouldn't I be good at it? I am interested in the medical field and I can type 90 wpm.

hmmm...you think???  i'm not trying to be a total bitch...not total...but is this really healthy?   Have you spoken with your shrink about it; your need to get validation and answers from online strangers?  Mind you, these are rhetorical questions, i don't care to see a reply...just fix it with the people that the gov't is paying to help you...this is a forum of regular people, not medical professionals involved in your problems.  I'll give you credit for having a thick skin...but really...get some P-R-O-F-E-S-S-I-O-N-A-L help...

the classes will be to hard. and theyll take even longer than
everyone else because you have to get your GED first.
your hands will get sore and you might get carpal tunnel.
your dad will be angry to take you to work every day.
you wont be able to afford lunches after paying your dad to drive you.
it wone be any fun and you might not make any friends.
you wont be able to spend hardly any time here with us.
see? its probably pointless to even try.

If you take your wisdom teeth out, don't you turn stupid?

Anyhow, isn't the tooth fairy busy in Iraq, handing out nickles to them guys?
