I'd need to get a new computer before I could go to college online...this computer is so old...I don't even have Word or anything on here and there is no room to add it to the computer.

You've got an excuse for every valid suggestion.  Why do you even ask?

I'm not just referring to subject of your education, it's what you do in every single thread you start.  What are you really hoping to accomplish other than garnering pity?

HMMM online yellow pages works well as well ,  you do not seem to be in too much of the boonies with 13 dentists in your home town    here is a full service dental/denture  clinic and does oral surgeries that takes all dental plans http://www.yellowpages.com/info-IY233376086/Aspen-Dental/products

the population in 2000 was near 11,000  in the 10 year peroid prior it grew by 66%   so today that population is probably close to 17 to 18,000 based on the growth trends      if you were living in some small town than had a population under 5,000  your complaints may be justified with regards to having no services available to you, and as for your complaining your parents about charging to drive you places  I tend to beleive there may be an extremely valid reason for, namely that you keep manipulating situations  to what  you want,   not necessarily to what is good for you, so your parents are learning not to support the behaviour and actions that tend not to be  always healthy  or necessary  for  you and  also  to avoid a lot of wasted time, energy and money., and your parents method is far more effective than simply saying no and then being forced to defend the no to you.  I am a parent to a manipulater  and with a 150 IQ  I had to learn how to stay on my toes unfortunately family members and other members of society were not as aware  so I was not able to prevent him getting into huge trouble as a result of his I want mentality, you got chased off, shunned on the other forum you were at because people did come to recognise what you were doing, eventually that may likely occur here and you will just drift off to another forum continuing to get help from others to make poor unhealthy choices for yourself, which one day will cost you dearly healthwise which I have no intentions of being a party to

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Still living at home, going to whatever appointments that your dad takes you to...obsessing on every bit of drama...be it physical
or emotional... is that enough for you or do you want more out of life than that?

I have made the suggestion that instead of telling us all why something can't be done...sitting down with paper and pen and writing out how it could be done.
If you see everything as impossible then how will you ever be able to accomplish ANY THING?

No, doll, you cannot be a transcriptionist or a medical biller.  You don't have it in you.  You need to find something that YOU can be good at.  And by the way, no, your "social worker" doesn't help people with their careers.  The type of social worker you are seeing is most likely a licensed clinical social worker, which means a therapist. You are thinking of someone that helps people find housing, jobs, etc., which means they do social work, but are not a "social worker" (which is a huge debate in the field of licensed social workers).

This is what I have a difficult time with:
I can not conceive that if you were to have a conversation with your folks and said to them.."I really want to get my life together...can you take me to a GED class?" or even "I think I would like to go volunteer at a nursing home 1 day a week...or join a book club..."
...or anything else that would reflect a desire to move forward in your life...that they would say "NO".....
I just am having a really hard time understanding that as a concept.

btw: if you want to have a chance at a good life in the future then you should abolish the notion that you don't have a job or you aren't working...your job should be to get better...your work should be putting a life together for your self.

Neat thread....It might save some time if you could find one person to cut your hair, pull your teeth and fix the countless other maladies that you are suffering from...Are lobotomies performed anymore? You might be able to acquire one on the cheap considering all of the other work that needs to be done.

It appears a lot of people have gone out of their way to offer you some very positive information on how to improve yourself.  What no one can give you is the desire to make it happen.... only you can do that.  There comes a point where you have to take responsibility for yourself and not keep making excuses.

The next question I suggest you ask yourself is ... do I really want to get better? ... Do I want to live the rest of my life this way?  Do I want to spend the rest of my life living on forums and asking strangers how to live my life and then telling them why I cant?
