17.5 inches

my neck is thick for my size because i am an athlete and from karate.
i wear a medium t-shirt but have to wear large x-large dress shirts if they are off the rack

I have found that when I start obsessing about my size, it's helpful to turn the computer off for a few hours and go for a long walk. The fresh air and exercise does wonders for my spiritual and physical being. And yes, I am a BIG woman.

yes, purepleasure, you may be a BIG woman (emphasis yours, dear, i just cut and pasted :) ) But you are a VERY cute big woman, and that makes up for a LOT. Well, and i LIKE big women, so...

Doll, you are bulimic. If i am correct about the DSMV, (and I could be wrong) you are ineligible for diagnosis as anorexic until you are below a normal BMI, but clearly you are practicing for the day. Do you really think people are going around looking at your NECK?
i mean, for instance, i definitely have the more attractive type of ankles - what is sometimes called ankles are beauty. But do you think anyone notices?

The truth is, you are just not that important to passing strangers, for them to care about or even notice your neck. i couldn't even tell you the neck sizes of my own sons, buying them a shirt involves a phone call to their apartment to ask them. That makes other gifts the first choice if i hoped to surprise them.

Well, I am a small woman by no means, but I work with it. lol. Fat girls need love too so stop getting down on yourself woman!! Besides melodrama about your weight is usually not only a downer and pisses off the people around you but I have also found its a turn off when you cant take the smallest compliment. As long as you are working towards changing what you don't like about yourself than you are fine. Suck it up. lol. Trust me, acting confident even if you aren't eventually gives you confidence.

I too am far from skinny, yet i still attract my fair share of men. Want to know why? I've got more than my body going for me. I don't obsess about my weight, in fact i don't even own a scale. There is so much more to me than my body and men see that. I'm comfortable in my own skin and i find that men are attracted to that. I know how to make them laugh and i've perfected the art of flirting - not teasing, FLIRTING.

Really doll, it's time to get out and keep busy. The problem with staying in all the time is it gives you too much time to focus on yourself. Get out, socialise. Volunteer at a shelter, seeing people who are worse off than you are will make you realise how good you have it. And for God's sake stop with these threads, they are doing nothing but turning people off you....

I am trying to get HEALTHY. It is not healthy to be morbidly obese. I don't want to die. I want to know what a normal size is so that I can try and get there.

I have a thick neck of 17.5 inches (all mucle) and its hell to fine a shirt that doesn't choke me.

I dont know about you .. but Im overweight in all of my body not just selected parts.......so work on all of me ......and dont obsess over any one part ...
